We need to watch as ACORN regroups and reincorporates in our states. There can be only one main reason. 2010 elections! For that reason we need to know if, when, and UNDER WHAT NEW NAME they come back to our voting precincts. They stole one election. They can steal another. We need to put each of our election boards on NOTICE. We will not tolerate ACORN by any new name, we will challenge voter registration lists, compare them to death and birth rolls, we will challenge ANYTHING fishy at the precinct level with vigor and legal force if necessary. Whatever it takes WE WILL HAVE CLEAN ELECTIONS. Let the winner claim victory....it's the PROCESS we care about. And that process cannot be tainted. Start NOW. Sign up to work polls.....hey most pay you for the day....get trained and KNOW YOUR JOB. Pay attention and let local election judges know they are going to be scrutinized closely throughout the whole day. Take a page from ACORNs play book. Get out and find folks who aren't registered or can't drive, get them signed up and either help them request absentee ballots or drive them to the polls. We have to do more than talk. The reason ACORN was able to steal the election was they were willing to get off their duffs and do the work. If we're only gonna sit and type blogs, we will not get what we want from this election. Get active locally, that's where the judges are, that's where the old cronies hang out...delivering one precinct at a time till the fix is in. And yes it's happened with EVERY administration. Nobody's hands are clean. But the only way to stop it is to get up and act. My election judges have been closely questioned. I asked them how they assure themselves a voter is who they claim to be. They said here in Tucson they have amassed a databank of SIGNATURES on utility contracts and Driver's license forms. If they have any question....they can pull up copies of the signatures and compare them on the spot. They have the right to deny anyone a ballot if their registration is questionable. They further have instant access to matching address with names, and with the birth and death records for age and status. All these checks help to assure the voter is who they claim to be and legally registered to vote at that polling station. Each state is different. Call your election office, find out what they are doing to insure clean elections and then use your group power to put at least one person in each polling station to PAY ATTENTION. Even something so simple as an election judge or official who is just too old but nobody wanted to hurt their feelings, so they get to work anyway. One precinct had an 80 year old woman....been working elections for years....but she had no idea how to "clear" the machines after each vote, forgot to do it regularly, was actually found walking around with the official tapes in her hand with no idea what to do with them....so hundreds of votes had to be just tossed out because of her incompetence. Anything else is voluntary. Now a story of a man who received the short form. He filled in the name and number and crossed through all other questions without comment. After mailing that he received a visit from a census worker. He politely declined to supply additional info, The census taker told him the law required this information. He declined again and asked the census worker politely to leave his property. The census worker retreated to his car but remained in front of the man's house. The man called the local police who escorted the census taker out of the area. A day later the man received a call from the US Census bureau. When he asked what they needed they asked him to supply THE NAME AND NUMBER OF PEOPLE LIVING IN HIS HOME, THANKED HIM AND HUNG UP. This leads me to believe that in fact this is the only information they are legally entitled to ask or demand. He received no penalty or threats and has not been bothered again. So if you are disposed to "peacefully" and politely resist providing more than is legally required, you may be on firmer footing than you think. No eggs, no guns, no verbal threats! Please! That negates your solid footing and puts you in violation of any number of other laws, criminal laws. Just give them the name and number of residents and politely request they leave your property.....then shut your door. Passive resistance is a powerful tool. Know your rights, understand what the law requires, supply that much only, and give them no other reason to escalate the situation. Passive resistance is both a statement and a protection of your rights. Same for the requirement to purchase health insurance. What if MILLIONS simply do not, no fanfare, no threats, no broadcasting the fact. Just don't do it. The IRS is only now completing it's mandatory 10% random audits of tax year 2005! They have 5 years to do each year's random audits. How long will it take 16 thousand new agents to verify that 380 Million people have purchased health insurance? And if only 3 million do not....it will take YEARS to find them. By then hopefully this HC nightmare bill will have been gutted. Another peaceful protest of an unconstitutional law. Same with any gathering or protest march. Remember the 60's. If things get dicey around you, someone gets too verbally worked up or abusive....simply move to the side and SIT DOWN. That is visual proof that you are NOT part of any criminal assault or civil disorder. If your group knows in advance to do this it makes a powerful but peaceful pocket in a rowdy crowd and lets police know instantly you and those around you are not part of the problem. Other than that....what exactly do these people do all day? As for the tax.....I make money....just because I do. Yet I spend next to none of it. I'm not a spender. I have few needs, drive a mid range avg car, live in a 2800 ft home, don't take lavish vacations, shop mostly at Walmart...I'm just not a spender. You'll lose big time if you opt for either a flat or a Vat tax on me. The only way you get 42% from me is with the current system. If you go to a vat....wow, I'll pay next to nothing cause I don't buy alot. If you go to a flat tax, I'll still pay no more than I do and likely less. And I only make $350K so I'm hardly Buffet or Soros. Maybe the Fair tax would keep my rate as high...don't know but I know if you switch to the other two I'll pay less...and in the case of the Vat a ton less. As for amending the Constitution.....holy carp.....in the current political environment I don't want to open that door to any of the clowns in gov't. Do you? Once you convene that Constitutional Convention...all bets are off and the Constitution is fair game....every part of it. I'd keep that door shut for now. It isn't the Constitution that's the problem. It's politicians and their spending. Get them under control....spend not one dime more than you take in, zero balance at year end. Then look at various tax plans and see which will hit the most people in the fairest way. I really don't mind paying for some things but for the past 20 years it's just gotten ridiculous....programs out the wazoo for no good reason except congress dreamed up the idea and then told us we NEEDED it or were ENTITLED to it.
