Do you think it's tacky when leaders of countries are laid out for display? Every president in our nations history has "lied in state" at the capitol building for public viewing. It's part of the tradition of our nation. Don't take this wrong, I'm not comparing Mr. Harwell to a president, but as a very prominent public figure, I completely understand and respect the public viewing that's taking place. As for profiteering, the public viewing was part of Ernie's final wishes, and knowing what I know about Mr. Harwell, he wasn't thinking about how much money the Tiger's organization could make off his death.

It's fairly obvious by your post that you lack basic skills, and had you had any discernment during the "I wanna get rich quick" portion of your life, you would have realized that attempting to sell expensive products from home is hard, and probably not for everybody. Couldn't East just save some money by not serving sushi at lunch? Maybe they could increase the prices at the Starbucks in the freshman wing. Perhaps some money could be saved by giving the students PC's instead of Macs... You know times are tough if East is privatizing.
Obviously others have beaten me to it, but driving is not a requirement, living is. As for social security, I would have been angry about that when it was passed as well, but I'm a little too young. The problem with our government is once you give them the power to do something, the people never get it back. That's what makes this such a monumental piece of legislation.
