My idea is to expand rhythm games to more than just the rhythm aspect. Take Rock Band for example, take the Band World Tour aspect of that game and make it fully fleshed out. You start out by customizing your instruments, then you decorate your parents basement for the show that you are about to do. Once your band gets bigger you'll have a van that you tour around in. You drive around in the van and set up posters around your neighborhood. Then when it's time for your gig you have to get to the gig before all the other bands do so you can customize the stage the way you want to. Once you do that, you pick what your band has to wear, where you need to set up your equipment, what order to play your songs, whether to do an encore or not. After the gig, you have obviously had too much to drink, so you have to stumble to your van and drunk drive your way home (kinda like GTA). Once you do that, you eventually get signed to a label. And that's when the game really opens up. You decided when to practice, whether or not it's a good time to cut a new album, what the album art should look like. The sorta thing that every band has to go through. Also, the game can be played by any ages, with many different types of genres of music. As you know, rhythmg games now have huge support from record labels so instead of this game being 70$ with songs that you don't want, it's a 30$ game with a few preloaded songs and the rest you can pick and chose from the huge selection of DLC. Also, leaderboards play a huge role in the game. Since you will be making records and playing gigs, the game challenges you to become the biggest selling band in the world! The mroe time you put into the game, the more you get out of it. Also, you will be able to download new clothes, venues and challenges every month to keep the game fresh and ever evolving the aspect of becoming legends

I would love to see Rock Band as an adventure games with strategic elements. I would like to be able to from my own band, drive the bus to the gig as a racing game, Set-up your equipment via minigame, play the gig in regular Rock Band style, smash rival bands instruments, beat up other bands in action-adventure/River City Randsom style, party hard by drinking beer minigame style, then drunk drive back to your pad in the style used in GTA 4. Once your band hits big, you can have an inventory system like an RPG where you have to assign and equip the correct instruments, clothing, accesories. Also, you can set up fireworks shows that go off during your set as well as when the crowd should join in. I think it would be an amazing gaming experience if Harmonix or Activision does something along those lines. Email: ncamerong@gmail.com
