How wonderful is our amazing Lord Jesus Chirst ! Yes, He is preeminent over all. And yet He chose us before the foundation of the world to be His children. Reminds on the old hymn, 'How marvelous, how wonderful is my Saviuor' s love for me'.

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : The Comfortable Church

I so agree. Mega churches do have a lot going for them, but when you look deeper there is a lot missing. I left a prosperous mega church for a number of reasons. New believers are not getting the right food and older believers are being spiritually starved from shallow teachings. And boy, I can get on a soap box about the 'seeker friendly' aspect. Thanks for bringing out truths about this subject.

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : True Conversion

This is so true. I had a friend who thought for years that she was truly born again. But after maybe ten years or so she realized she was not and was truly converted. She was more caught up in the 'social aspect' of Church than being caught up in Christ. Sad that there may be many more like my friend was attending churches, even sound ones. Lord, open their eyes to the truth.

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : The Tracks of Our Tears

Tears. I have shed more than I care to remember and think God must have an awful large bottle for mine. I have found tears to be a release, a way to release the emotions of actual physical pain and emotional pain. I also believe that at times we can express our prayers to our Lord more eloquently with tears than with words. Yes, I remember that song, 'The Tracks of our Tears'. That is an interesting way to look at our life. What has made us cry during the time we walk this earth. It is interesting that the shortest verse in the Bible is 'Jesus wept'. He is certainly a man of sorrows acquainted with grief. Just another thought. Revival. I think for there to be true revival it has to start with our tears. On our faces, on the floor before our God. Repenting of our sins and literally crying for the lost souls of those around us. The Lord would surely honor such tears. Oh, that our Lord would bring His children, including me to that type of tears. Tears that could change the world, tears that would affect eternity.
