Wrong FM - A condition in which you must feel quite comfortable by now.

The reality is that intelligent people can be taught to write the news
objectively and read from a TelePrompter quite easily and after all,
that is the objective.

Just like those news writers at the NY Times all know what kind of
articles they MUST submit to keep their jobs, bright college students
can be taught to edit out bias opinion from Tele Prompter script.

Teaching smart people to read exactly what is printed on that TP is
even easier. That is if they wish to keep their jobs. And THAT would
be my requirement. Just as the CEO's of the networks presently
require that their anchors be as liberal as they are. There is always
a middle ground. You just need to find the right people to adhere to
principle.

It would take me about 6 months to get my network News to reach #1. My news people would be COMPLETELY neutral in reporting the news or they would be fired - right on the air too. No swooning by Sawyer or Couric as they spoke about Obama. Up off your knees, girls - it's unseemly. It is my belief that it is not all that hard to do. The news writers would be strictly unbiased - No Liberal slant - No Conservative one either. My slogan would go something like - - -" The News - as it happens in the way it happens." The masses are hungry for this and they WANT it to happen.

While driving around Canada one time, I asked of my Canadian host, "Why are all your fuel drums up so high on wood platforms?" He answered that was how high the snow got in winter. I laughed and drove back home to Florida. Funny, I met that same friend on a beautiful white beach on the Gulf Coast. I laughingly reminded him of the "drums on sticks" He just shivered and said could we talk about something else. I would imagine that Canadians do that a lot in winter. Shiver and imagine a beautiful, white, sandy beach in a tropical Florida setting. On the other hand, I rarely think of Canada at all.
