Hi Niceguy2010 I got version 2.0.2 and I use another macbook pro from a friend and the result is the same. So I did it again but with a twist. When Absinthe says is waiting for reboot I did a manual reboot without disconnect the USB cable from the computer and then after the Apple logo appear something starts to install, Absinthe continue until I got the message "could not connect to lockdown..." so I started again and the result still remains. I have to live without the jailbreak on my iPad. The curious thing is that Absinthe works fine on my 2 iPhones 4 and one iPhone 3GS. Anyway thank you so much for your help and patience.

Hi Niceguy2010 I tried with a new cable and both usb ports. I am using Absinthe 2.0.2 because Absinthe 2.0.1 is not longer available. I will try again with another Mac and windows computer tomorrow and will let you know what is going on. My iPad 3 is WiFi 32 Gb (MC706LL)

Hi Niceguy2010 I did what you told me but first I reset the Macbook to factory settings, I erased everything on it and install the OS X 10.7.4, iTunes, etc. Then I did step by step of your instructions and my bad luck still persist, the result is the same, Absinthe stucks on the same message and the iPad never reboot. Maybe is something with this iPad hardware or something else. Anyway thank all of you for your patience and help. Thank you again!

Ok I did the steps you told on a MacBook Pro, MacBook and Windows 7 Vaio and the result is the same, Absinthe sticks on the message "waiting for reboot..." and nothing more happens. I already download firmware 5.1.1 from a direct link in Cydia blog and the result is the same. I think I have to live without jailbreak in my iPad. Thanks anyway. ;o(

The true is the iPod is in bad shape and I think is time for my niece to buy another one. thank you again to both of you

yes but it didn't work. what I did is: 1. Download and Install SAM 2. the iPhone reboot and enter in Recovery mode 3. with redsn0w I select "Just boot tethered right now" 4. I install the original AT&T sim card and iTunes activate the iPhone 5. Insert my Sim (Telcel-Mexico) with G Sim 6. Then I installed MiTime and followed the instructions viola! now runs everything great.

Hi I use G sim to unlock my iPhone 4 and it works perfect. My problem is FaceTime, when I try to activate it I stuck with "Waiting for activation..." message. I tried to use MiTime but when I launch the app I receive a message telling me ... "Need iTunes Activation, Your activation state is Unactivated. This means you won't be able to activate FaceTime without using SAM...." I installed SAM and de-activate my phone, but here the problems started because the iPhone goes to recovery mode and I tried to get out of there with tinyumbrella but no luck at all. So I have to use the pwnagetool's custom restore and restore the iPhone completely. So my question here is there any way to activate FaceTime? iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.3 (8J2), Model MC318LL, BB 02.10.04 and I am using MacBook and iTunes 10.3.1 (55) Thank You for any help!! ;o))
