You prefer human death over harvesting game birds? This shows that your stance against capital punishment to be without merit.

Do not compare a lawyer to a physician. Doctors heal the sick, aid those who need comfort and perform the impossible on a regular basis. Lawyers, when chasing ambulances, merely cash in on the misery of others.

for whatever reason you can't get a lawyer. Perhaps this might happen if he demands a lawyer with principles and honesty.

Rancho Seco was shut down decades early to placate the greens. The next year utilities were strapped for cash to buy generation off the Spot Market. Not one MSM reported the story. Remember: greens only want technology that has never been demonstrated to make money.

Yikes! Fast neutron means core enriched to being bomb grade. Liquid metal cooling is quite dicey, safety wise. For example, NFPA had to add a fourth type of fires... burning metal that will not quench if sprayed by water. The only LMFBR built to produce commercial electricity melted down during low power testing (Enrico Fermi Unit 1). No way in hell will these units be spread out in various communities. Yes they will use water, steam is required to rotate the turbine generator. The fuel at Chernobyl was graphite encased, which greatly added to the huge overpower event.

The glass does indeed prevent the water from beoming contaminated. Most in-plant water contamination is due to microscopic leakage from the fuel rods. There can be some activation (smashed by a neutron) of hydrogen or oxygen. The oxygen product lasts for milliseconds. There are 2 radioactive isotopes of hydrogen, Deuterium and Tritium. D2O is "heavy water" and is used in Canadian reactors. US reactors treat both isotopes as radwaste. Like it or not we need the repository, i.e. much of the material from the Manhattan Project is still in "temporary" storage. The only thing lacking is political courage.

Big Hollywood : The Bill Maher Meltdown

Destruction of the American style of living will only make society poorer. If the ten years of measured atmospheric cooling had been measured AFTER signing Kyoto, the greens would be claiming "cause and effect". A greenie from the British collection of fully moonbat pseudo-scientists claims that cow flatulance is a HUGE concern. I recommend that you volunteer to collect/disarm said emissions. As for my head: I constructed 3 nuclear plants, performed as Nuclear Design Engr. at two operating plants. The five stations would have burned a boatload of coal. I also plant trees. Nature is far more forgiving than you may think. Wait on the gas, planting trees is a better diversion.

Radioactive particles behave like their chemical designations. The chance of exposure to Carbon 14 is very low, with regards to health risk. The nastiest stuff is Iodine and Thorium. Our bodies crave Iodine (in any form, rad or not). Fortunately, I-131 is short lived and any contaminated area self cleanses in short time. Thorium behaves like its periodic neighbor, Calcium. It enters the body just as calcium does and then finds its way (through soil) to teeth and bone. Thorium-131 is long lived, only starvation could compel me to eat from fields contaminated by Thorium-131.

Most employees park their vehicles in a parking lot during the best hours of solar during any given weekday. Thus, drive on monday, weds and friday. Use your thumb on all other days. Or buy an additional volt-car, brilliant! Two cars for one driver, how's THAT for conservation.

How fast does water weep through glass? Why are virtually all drinking vessels made of glass? The isotopes being buried will lay within the glass virtually forever if stored correctly (and yes, they have that technology ready to go). Senator Reid is an enviro-phony as long as he fights the radwaste facility. Greens in general oppose only the green options that actually work.
