The cap and trade effort to tax greenhouse gas emmisions about to become law federally will increase electric bills by 100% or more. Of course if the environmental billionaires who blocked nuclear power at every level had not been successful, coal plants would not have been built and nuclear would have emitted no green house gases. I quess its not the gases but the profits fom the carbon credit market that is the driving force in government today.
