Wow. I don't know why, but I thought MG 1100 or Austin America. I wouldn't have guessed Countryman, though. Good catch!

In the early to mid '70s, lifter noise on startup in Ford V-8s was even noted in the owner's manual.

Thanks. That looks like a decent one, but it's Android only. There are some iOS ones (Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth) on Amazon. I had looked awhile back at some here: https://www.scantool.net/

Hooniverse : Good News for Brooklands= Good News For ALL OF MOTORSPORT.

James May did a tribute to Brooklands on James May's Toy Stories (a wonderful series, if you get a chance to see it). It's Episode Four, where they build a 2.95 mile long Scalextric track, along the original Brooklands route. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_May%27s_Toy_St...

Hooniverse : Big in Berlin – Lucille is a 1972 Ford Country Sedan turned German

Whoa, it's a transplant from SoCal. As for the headlights, been there, done that. I used to run Cibie' low- and high beam headlights on my '68 Bonneville. Of course I had to swap them out and put in the original sealed beams before going for the annual state safety inspection, since the Cibie' lamps weren't DOT marked ("FOR MOTORCYCLE USE ONLY" in the U.S.), and then swap them back in after the inspection. And of course a Country Sedan is a wagon only. Why did they use the name "Sedan"? You got me. The woodgrain version is the Country Squire. When I was in high school in the '70s, we would occasionally carpool in a friend's parents' metallic brown '72 Country Sedan. Other days it would be a '68 Ford Fairlane 4-door sedan (302 2-barrel), a '64 Plymouth Valiant 4-door (Slant Six with a pushbutton automatic), or for a real treat, one guy's mom's '74 Mazda RX-4 4-door with 5-speed.

Hooniverse : 1993 Ford Bronco body on SVT Raptor frame, engine

Wow. Having formerly owned a '95 F-150, I look at those door trim panels installed on those '93 doors, and I'm just amazed. The way the top corners of the panel look, it's just like the originals. And the dash? Damn. There's a lot of engineering and fabrication work here. And yeah, I agree, some kind of flares would look good here. Sure, offroading is going to sling dirt and mud on the body, but a set of flares would minimize it, and protect the paint. I imagine there are plenty of wrecked Raptors out there; you'd just have to make sure you trammel the frame, to make it's straight, and also carefully check the suspension and rear axle for damage.
