Would you accuse those who enjoyed the movie but also strongly hated certain episodes like "Mare-Do-Well" or "Spike at your service", etc, as being completely biased or only liking something because it's ponies? The fact is, some people just liked the movie because, well, that's just what they got out of the movie, and that's all there is to it. They didn't like it just because of who it was made from, or what it was based on, they just liked it because they liked it.
Listen, I understand that you didn't personally enjoy the movie, that's fine. But accusing others of having a wrong opinion simply because you don't agree with them does nothing and goes nowhere, other than riling people up and starting flame wars. When it comes down to it, there is no such thing as a wrong opinion. For example, you may think that "Brad" and the whole love interest subplot may have been a deal breaker by itself, where as others may simply felt he was an uninteresting character that added very little, but didn't take too much away at the same time. You may think that the songs were poor, while others felt they were catchy, decent, and fun to listen to. You may think that the story was terrible and cliche, while others thought it was fairly well done, even in spite of its tropes. Etc, etc. I do respect your opinion, and you did present a valid and well-written argument on why you didn't enjoy it. But at the same time, I ask that you do the same for our perspectives and not instantly disregard them just because you don't see eye to eye with them. Thanks.

Btw; No, just because I am giving the movie a rating higher than 1, does not mean I am a "mindless hasdrone" or that Hasbro is paying me to say that I liked it, etc. I'm sorry, but those types of comments really get under my skin. If people didn't like the movie, fine, that's your point of view. But please, stop with the angry/hateful comments towards those who did like it.
