I was finacially capable of moving on with our lives, but I know the feeling of the great sense of loss, In our case it was estimated at 275,000. I had home owners insurance .......not one penny did they pay... So dont think all these people are trailer trash, I could probbaly buy and sell you .... If you received Fema or Jumpstart assistance to REBUILD your house that would count as money you could pay your taxes with. Or if you sold your property but still paid the taxes , which you have to by law , You dont get an abatement.. even though you had no use of the premises for the entire year. Oh well!!!!
