Big Government : Govt Official/NAACP Award Recipient Resigns after Big Government Exposé

In the full 43-minute video of her speech released by the NAACP Tuesday evening, Sherrod tells the story of her father's death in 1965, saying he was killed by white men who were never charged. She says she made a commitment to stay in the South the night of her father's death, despite the dreams she had always had of leaving her rural town. "When I made that commitment I was making that commitment to black people and to black people only," she said. "But you know God will show you things and he'll put things in your path so that you realize that the struggle is really about poor people." Sherrod said in the speech that working with Spooner, who she does not name, changed her entire outlook. "She's always been nice and polite and considerate. She was just a good person," Eloise Spooner said. "She did everything she could trying to help." Is she still a racist?

Big Government : Shirley Sherrod: 'They Made Me Quit Because I was Going to Be On Glenn Beck'

Spitz the audience clapped when she joked about the farmer, who thought he was "superior" needing her to keep his farm and how ironic that is. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to put a red neck in his/her place the experience is priceless. For those of us old enough to have lived through real racism, having the opportunity to show people who wouldn't have pissed on us if we were on fire the ability to move past and often painful experiences to do the right thing is a feeling that can't be described.

I expect this sort of half-assed reporting from Fox and Breitbart, this is the stuff hat they do. I am really disappointed at the administrations response to this. It just makes them look weak as hell.
