Here's an idea get rid of social security. It won't be there when I retire so stop making us pay into social security instead let us pay that same amount into an IRA. So if you eliminate the portion of income tax that goes to SS then it won't matter if there's an end to the income tax cuts, because eliminating SS will far offset any increases due to the end of the cuts. Also just IMO the SS and welfare systems are broken, one beyond repair, so that's why I say eliminate SS and overhaul welfare completely.

No No No NO! How many times do we have to bail out failing Airlines, or allow Ch. 11 only to have them make money hand over fist down the road and still charge its customers out the @$$! The Airlines are private companies let them fail and then maybe just maybe they will start running the company in the black rather than in the red while giving its CEOs huge salaries and benefits. This is just IMO, but am willing to listen to any other REASONABLE arguments.

Well since we have bad drivers and nothing we can do about them then we have to look at alternate solutions. These electronic signs are not the solution. They should of went one of two ways either gone with stoplights w/ left turn signals, or they should have built an overpass. That being said I used to live next to a busy divided 4 lane (169 up by Elk River). People have no idea how hard it is to judge oncoming traffic when everyone is doing different speeds (with some of them gasp speeding), and you have rather consistent lines of cars in both directions. Simply put Hwy 52 and US-169 in the rural areas were two roads that were not only not meant to handle the traffic volume they currently do, but certainly not handle that volume with crossroads.

Great now we have another preventitive for the impaired driver to bypass (and they will), and to screw over the driver who has an emergency and is too panicked to get it right. What about the people with a medical emergency or trying to escape someone? They will never in a million years pass this lights combo bc of the duress they are under. Think before you mass market products, think about all the implications and side effects. You (the government) allowed mass production of DDT and Agent Orange bc they were beneficial to clearing land and to crops, and look at the problems they caused. All I'm saying is no matter how beneficial a product may seem there is always a downside and we really need to focus on either mitigating the downside or banning items with too much of a downside from being produced at all.

Yes finally a challenge!!!!! I love it when a school not only forces something on its students that that it really can't enforce, but also when they make it a challenge now to outdrink the average or the high end drinkers on campus. WTG UW-Stout way to breed a whole new generation of binge drinkers and alcoholics by making it a challenge to see who can drink the most now!
