In complete agreement, what's the point of free information if it's censored by some government official? Especially if it's used as a propaganda tool. It's a great idea to make the internet more accessible to those who lack means to information, but there's a tradeoff, that being a risk in internet censorship to serve some governments own goals. Tricky issue, but really nothing these days are black and white.

I agree the government has kind of an inverse midas touch where they turn gold into trash but you can't ignore how empowering this could be for people in countries that have a hard time getting outside information. I'll cite the Iranian protests and the impact twitter had on its organization.
