I think some of these commentors misunderstood her message. She DIDN'T say she wasn't thankful, I'm sure she's very thankful for many things. But she did say it was a reminder of the most horrible day for her. If you have never worked really hard to reach a goal and was just within arms reach of completing it and then it was suddenly cut off at the quick, just like that. Wouldn't you hate that day too ? Regardless of which day it happened on ? I'm mean something you wanted so bad. Something that you gave your heart, blood, sweat, and tears to and then Poof, gone ! How would you cope ? Could you cope as well as she has ? This isn't a day where somebody just died for her. It was a day of total annihilation of her hopes and dreams. And she has been brave enough to share her grief journey with all of us. I've read her book and commend her for her bravery. There is no time line or right or wrong way to grieve. I think we should send her hugs in spirit and up lift her. Where's is our community support ?
