I would watch it, simply because many times foreign media covers news that the media herd in America does not cover.

Commentary Magazine : Romney Reminds Us Why He Lost

Every day, millions of Americans come home, tired, and some dirty and wore out from a day of work. They were not insulted by Romney's 47% comment nor his recap of his loss the other day, remarking on how Obama's gifts to constituents cost him. I think he was right to call them out. It shouldn't be done every day, but we all know Obama bought that election, starting with Ohio and Michigan using the auto bailouts. Call a spade a spade. Remember also, this was in a call to campaign donors, who did have a right to an explanation.

Commentary Magazine : What’s Going on With Chris Christie?

I disagree. He didn't need to go out of his way to help Obama. Let's face it, Democrats play harder than Republicans. Do you remember any Democrats in Louisiana helping Bush. Nope.

Commentary Magazine : Is Sandy This Year's October Surprise?

Actually, the hurricane story tends to freeze the race in place. Even if Obama tried to attack the Libyans or some other stunt, people would still be more worried about the storm and its aftermath.

Commentary Magazine : Should Mourdock Get the Akin Treatment?

So how do the Mourdock types propose we stop the woman from aborting the rapist's baby? Isn't that the bottom line. What is the point of a politician pontificating on this extremely dangerous subject? I don't understand what the end game is.

Commentary Magazine : Did Mourdock Just Lose the Senate?

If you go back to the earlier drop in Romney's polling, it started at about the time Akin made his disastrous gaffe. Luckily, there is no quotable term like"legitimate rape" from the gaffe. Of course, if the gaffe loses us 5000 votes in each state, we are in trouble. All campaigns are national. I wish our social conservative allies would remember that.

It doesn't have to derail an entire campaign, it only has to cost him .5% to lose in a close election.

Mike, I'm also very suspicious of these defeatists. My entire attitude is based on results. If the result of an article or post helps Obama, I get suspicious. These guys are trying to spread defeatism. All candidates have strengths and weaknesses.

So, who said what? I read an entire article about theoretical infighting but nobody said anything. I don't get it. Is this where I'm supposed to comment on something that doesn't exist?

Commentary Magazine : Romney and Conservative Critics Should Focus on Obama, Not Each Other

Noonan has written many very tough articles about Obama. Problem is, no one knows about them, except for people who read the WSJ, and a handful of others. Everyone knows about Noonan criticizing Romney. She, Kristol, et al, have to consider that, when they write their articles. They can't just blindly write articles, and consider that the impacts are equal.

So long as you know that conservative criticism is plastered on every msm website, and is used to demoralize turnout for Romney. I think it's pointless junk. Send the Romney campaign a private email if you have a criticism or suggestion. Noonan, Kristol, et al are being used as evidence that "not even Republicans are happy with Mitt Romney", etc.

Romney does better when they attack him. He is slow to anger, and stays on an even keel. Obama (from the Democrat pov) should have smothered him in honey. I'm guessing Romney knew all along that Obama was going to be a nasty campaigner.

A lot of good points, Trudy. Turkey has isolated herself from her former protectors and benefactors with her new pro-muslim leanings. I think this will help Syria stave off an air attack because now everyone knows there will be losses.
