aptbackup from cydia will back all ur apps. you will have to configure it after the restore.

install apt --> click backup --> sync ur phone --> update ur phone to 3.1 --> open cydia --> install apt --> click restore.

dude, it's so easy. i just created the ipsw file, but i'm not sure i want to upgrade. my JB 3.0.1 iphone is working fine.

i have a different question. Is it really worth the upgrade to 3.1? im on 3.0.1 and everything is working fine. what are some of the advantages to the upgrade?

i was using the wrong ipsw ... make sure you download the one on iclarified.

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my 3GS. every time i try to jailbreak it it gets stuck rebooting. I've tried unplugging it and no luck. I even tried two different computers. one mac and on PC, and getting the same problem. I've formatted the phone and restored it to 3.0.1. any info would be wonderful. thx.
