You mean the same heartless g o d that put the rest of the family through this misadventure? The same g o d that you praise for saving 1 of 10 kids that die in a car accident? Your church and your flavor of g o d must find you a refreshing font of stupidity.

Shouldn't we be more concerned about the team name? After all the persecution and discrimination that women have endured over the years wouldn't it be better if they were called something other than the "MAN"atees? Maybe "PERSONalities", GYNOtees", something anything that would be more politically correct... And they could serve Freedom Fries at the meeting too.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Erykah Badu charged over Dallas nude video shoot | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Traffic and We

Couple of points to consider - I went directly to her website to view the video. When she disrobed her breasts and pubic region were pixelated. If the nudity was OK and not a big deal why would she cover it up in the video? It's ok to expose herself to random people (and children) in public but to those who actually seek out the video she hides herself? There is something inconsistent about that. If this were a man doing the same exact thing I believe the charges would be different. If a man exposed his penis to children, and there were children visible in the video, the charges would be more serious and would involve jail time rather than a fine. Equality works, or should work, both ways. I saw the "artist" on Chelsea Lately the other night. She came across as an inarticulate stoner would had trouble putting together two sentences. Flash in the pan..............

Assume the man was aware and knew about all the cop killings that have happened recently. As the cop is chasing him, for what ever reason, he must have thought about it. He knew he had a gun and he still got out of the car with it on his body. Then he took it out, ignored the warnings, and then lifted it up and pointed the gun at an officer. These are separate events that took real thought to complete. Why should he, or anyone else be surprised that the officer shot him? I would only be upset if the man was not dead. Anytime an officer has to shoot someone they have to shoot to kill it is the only thing that makes sense and is the way they are trained.

Hypothesis - God is every where God is everything God is behind everything God caused the earthquake If as one poster above said that 95% of Haiti is christian then why would god do this? Why would god kill the highest ranked catholic servant in Haiti? Why are the people in Haiti and around the world praying to the being that caused this tragedy? Of course if there is no god (gasp) then it's possible that plate tectonics are responsible. And the lack of modern building codes helped to make things even worse.

We, the independent thinkers, don't tend to follow the herd and tend not to group people together in positive or negative ways. As has been said here many times there are good cops and there are bad cops. By all that has been written this was a good cop. I haven't even heard any rumors from the "alleged killer" that the reason for the killing had anything to do with his honesty. He was merely a man in uniform in the wrong place at the wrong time. By the sounds of it you might be a co conspirator either in deed or thought. If you don't want to participate in this effort then don't. Even if we are misguided, which we are not, you shouldn't spread more hate. Heck we may even take up a collection and get you a shirt. Would that make you feel better?

There is good and evil in all of us. What matters is how we handle it and what we do with it. I sent a design to Ken directly. Simple but heart felt. I think it would look good as a t shirt. Unfortunately it would work if/when another officer falls, although I did not mean it to.

We all know what the word means, right? It means that he put his penis into her vagina. I don't know the origins of the word but by popular consent that is waht it means. So, by popular consent, or consent of the SNL writers, they have substituted freakin to mean the same thing, right? So when they, or we, say freakin it means that he put his penis into her vagina. So why is no one up in arms about the new word? Or for that matter why is anyone up in arms about the original word? I am interested in seeing if this post makes it to the web unedited. It's just a game.....

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Hugh Hefner files for divorce in LA | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | Entertainment

so, the bible is unoriginal? My point is that if marriage (between 2 god fearing people of opposite sexes of course) is only for procreation then if procreation is impossible then divorce is the only christian thing to do. But if marriage is about more than procreation then it should not be limited in any way. If two people, or three or four for that matter, want to form a loving union that is state certified then they should be able to. If they want to add to the union or to dissolve it entirely then they should be able to do that as well. And they should be able to do it without the self-serving morality police passing judgment on them. What person does to make them selves and the people they love happy is nobodies business but their own. As long as you don't involve children, animals or coercion in your love life then you should be free to do as you want.

Marriage is a legal convention. Nothing more. It makes christians feel good about having sex. Somewhere in the bible it says something about it being for procreation. Fine, if you are christian then you should only have sex in marriage and only to have children. When the woman is past her child bearing years the couple must then divorce. If one or the other of the couple is incapable of having children, or if they get snipped then they should divorce. When the children are 18 years or older then they should divorce. The only reason to stay married after that is if the child is disabled and needs care for the rest of their life. The only reason to get divorced should be an in ability or reluctance to have children, and no other reason. If you are a true christian then you can't argue the point. Can you?
