This is totally understandable for those of us with elderly parents...but there are a few questions. Why was he taking his wife from this place and where was he wanting to take her? An earlier story says he was told not to do this which leads me to believe he has tried this in the past.
Anyway...hope things work out and their in good hands.
Bad timing! This is not a good inituative...schools and much needed goverment services have already taken their fair share of cuts. Our tax dollars are not being wasted.. Schools are barely getting by now for cryin-out-loud! .. When things get fat and wasteful again...so be it...just not now! VOTE NO on 1033
Curiousmom~ I understand your anger and needed to vent myself...you said it so well and just reading your comment assures me there is plenty of compassion out there for this unique lady/athlete. Aside from a few idiot remarks the majority on this page seem to at least show a bit of sensitivity and knowlege...(thankyou Lilith_30 if you read this)....

LocalLady you said it right on...my young daughter will never be able to have children...one day she and her future life partner...spouse..husband,whatever will be unworthy because of their in-home domestic situation?? As with the majority of young eager students out there she is going to school to advance her degree...the next stage is marriage and family and then decisions...She, as well as many others would be very capable loving parents and this is the obstacle they will need to deal with?
While this country is focusing on changing the health care system...maybe the adoption standards should be looked at too. We are seeing way too many tragic stories such as this.

Hmmm... searched three times....he must have been wondering "what the heck, what a bunch of dopes". Why did he bother telling them? With that charge, he probably wouldn't have been in long... that thing, sitting under his skin just got too itchy and he caved.
