Breitbart.tv : Obama Announces Tax Deal

The right's lust for money. Please both parties are playing that game. Why did Obama receive more money from BP than any other candidate. How did Obama receive more money from wall street than any Republican candidate. Wake up and smell the coffee, this has become a ruling class system vs a republic. The middle class actually grew to its largest level under Reagan and Bush 43. Also, maybe we should ignore the upper income class also grew as well, right. I mean these people just moved in from overseas, or just appeared out of thin air, right? Clearly they did not go from middle class to upper class at all. That would be to logical. Go back to what I said earlier, did you ever receive a job from a poor person? These poor millionaires hate eating out, going to movies, buying cars, buying jewelary, right. I mean we can replace all that spending with the Teacher's salary right. Oh yeah, I forgot they get their salary from the poor millionaires that pay taxes. Amazing how that works.

Only if you report facts. Why don't you talk about the real cost of the "tax cut". The money belongs to the american people not the other way around. If you are worried about the federal deficit why don't you talk about the rest of the cost for the "tax cut". For the people that make under $250,000 the cost for this "tax cut" is around $3 trillion dollars representing around 75% of the total cost for the Bush Tax Cuts. Where is that in your discussion for adding to the deficit. Plus how can it cost you something when it is not in the revenue stream at all. It does not the cost the government anything to keep these tax cuts. Finally, how many jobs have you received and kept from a poor person? Answer that honestly and you will realize that more jobs were created during times of tax cuts (ie JFK, Reagan, Bush 43)

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 7/24 Last Week Obama Said Racial Discrimination Was Down In America

Hey I totally agree with you on this and to think that many minorities (Asians, Irish, even Mormans) that have come to this country have succeeded, yet for some reason the impression on the country is that the black community has not. There are many opportunities for all walks of life in this great country of ours, but like you said if you keep dividing us, then it is much more difficult for us to become the true melting pot. Heck we have a black president; one women VP candidate and another as a presidential candidate; a morman , a former babtist preacher, a hispanic, and a jewish man all as predential candidates in the past four years. Let's stop making excuses and fight against those that are truly racist and believe in the good of people instead of always looking for the worst.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 7/8 Small Biz Owners Figure Out The Costs Of Climate Change Bill

Not only does he have interest in the Wind Farms, but I am sure he will benefit from the Carbon Credit market that will be opened. This is just another futures market game that will give the rich an opporunity to "gamble" with their money and our energy future. By the way T. Boone also has a big investor in his wind farms = Nancy Pelosi. This reaks of big business and big government working together. If I am not mistaken this cause our last economic downfall and it will happen again if this bill is passes.

I don't question why she is doing it unless it is to run for President nearly three years away. No one has ever faced this type of media bias in a negative way and I can not blame her for leaving and getting back to her roots - the family. It will also allow her to become better educated and experienced on the foreign affairs, domestic policies, and other issues. However, if she ever wants to get back into politics she has to overcome that image of quiting a job before her term is up. If the people can overlook that and she is the best candidate for the job then she has my vote.

I agree with you regarding Sarah. I like her views and political beliefs, but I honestly believed she was not ready for the VP job. As much as other people want to compare this to Obama running for President while being a US Senator or any of the governors that have run for President or taken cabinet positions before their term is up is crazy. These are promotions and just like any of us would take a promotion from work. Most of the time we are still doing the old job while interviewing for the promotion. When we accept the promotion we leave the old job for the new. It happens every day in the private sector. However, what is odd here is that Sara is like the CEO that resigns out of the blue. No one expected it and even though the State is in good hands just like a corporation would be, it is still shocking.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 6/30 Big Shocker - Obama Agrees With Chavez & Castro (and by big shocker we mean NOT)

You mention Palin and her being blasted by the media and I agree with you on that it is uncalled for when we have so much else to worry about in the world However, don't forget it is McCain's camp and Romney's former campaign managers that started this issue. You talk about not wanting a Castro like government, don't forget it was Bush that help started these bailouts. Don't forget it was also John McCain that voted for the bailouts and would have signed the Cap and Trade. I agree with you all of this wasteful spending needs to stop as well and so does this contant growth of Government. However both parties were taking us there. We as a nation have to educate people why this is bad and true freedom is the best for all of us. Get rid of Big Government and Big Business interest then we can get back to living free. Keep both of them and we are treading water between the two parties.

I am ending this stupid argument now, but know this I am not democrat and have never been (I married one). I have been involved with Republican politics for over twenty years. I was ten when I started working on helping a campaign for an Indiana Governor. My mom use to work for a republican Mayor of Indianapolis and a good family friend is now the Republican Governor of Indiana. My point is that your comment seemed to be racist and I still believe that you intended it that way. I am not defending Less is more beliefs but the fact it seemed your statement was racist. Again if it is not, then state it, but in all of your rant you have not. Oh by the way when ACORN signs the same people up to vote over and over again it is VOTER REGISTRATION FRAUD not VOTER FRAUD! As of right now there is no proof of voter fraud. I am not saying there could not have been, but right now we have to go on facts and the facts state they are charged with Voter Registration Fraud.

Hey hot shot - read the post I said that his ratings is falling and agreed with Old navy guy on that point. You can not tell me that your comment was not racist if you honestly look at it. If you did not mean it that way then fine state that, but you have not. Telling BO to go back to Africa and that he only won because of the black vote. Come on man, be honest with your self. By the way do you have proof that a lot of votes came from ACORN. They are charged with voter registration fraud not voter fraud. Read up on the difference. The point is BO won and received votes from all walks of life. If you don't believe that then fine, but then you need to wake up and see that we still have around 70 million people that voted for BO. 50 million of those probably still approve of his actions. How are we going to change that number is what we need to worry about, not this crap about racial politics.

Old navy guy - I think that you are mis-reading Lelsmore post. I know that she seems to have more liberal views from other post that I have read of hers but clearly bamaboy is incorrect on the reason that Obama was voited in and they are clearly racist remarks. Leslsmore is correct that his approval rating is in the 60% percent range and so are you in that it is falling. But let's call a spade a spade. Those are not the remarks most people that dislike Obama's views woould stand for ever. Obama was elected by all races. What we need to do is to better educate the society on why his policies are wrong for America.

Exactly right Matt.. In fact I will go one step further and the reason for this bill is also to allow them to take part in another sweethart deal. The money making scheme this will provide in trading carbon credits will be just another Hedge Fund game.
Unfortunately I disagree, because he did lie on his location during the 5 days. As a comander in chief of a state, this is uncalled for and in my belief is a reason for impeachment. I like Sanford and I was hoping that he would run for Pres or at least be the VP. This is just another kick to the gut by our politicians. We as a country have had many Presidents and Governors that have had affairs and still ran an effective country or state, however, we have to stand on principals. The affair is one issue, but when you lie on oath or leave your state/country for no reason especially not notifying anyone, that becomes a different issue.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 6/5 Supreme Court Nominee Sotomayor Is JUST LIKE US - In Debt!

We don't need to know her finances because all we have to look at is her record and judicial papers. That alone is sufficient for me to not want her on the bench. If the Republicans/Conservatives raise this issue, it will look like we are stretching to find reasons not to like her. I can handle judges that politically do not agree with me, but what we can not afford is someone that legislates from the bench and she has flat out said that she multiple times. I want a judge that will take the law of the land as established by the Congress (State or Federal) and be able to use facts to decide the case. Heck I even hate the fact that some people (ie Rush) are saying they could support her because she might be a "closet" pro-lifer. She can not be passed not because of her comments on race (apparently multiple times as well now), but because she feels that she can legislate from the bench.

I agree that we are late on allowing the companies go through bankruptcy, but there is no reason that the DOW should be back over 10,000. There is still too much debt outstanding, the housing crisis has not corrected itself yet and there is inflation kreeping in with gas prices, food prices, etc rising as people have stop spending. Hopefully we will get back over 10,000 points in the DOW, but I fear we are into something similar to the "lost decade for Japan in the 90's" at best or worse a 1930's style of depression with no manufacturing jobs to pull us out of the depression.

You are exactly right. No one is seeing that the layoffs and the unemployment is just going to rise over the summer along with gas prices, food prices, and the basic cost of living and we have not even passed the Cap and Trade bill. There should be no reason that the market was up over 200 points yesterday and close near 9,000 points. Gold and Oil are jumping through the roof right now as the dollar is losing its value and will continue as the only way to ring the spending back in is by raising the interest rates and taxing the people. This is just priming the pump again, and the market is going to burst even bigger than before in 1991, 2000, and 2008. Good news for Indy is that an independent buyer is purchasing Hummer which will help save some jobs. This should have been done last year to save the American tax payers close to $100 billion dollars

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 5/28/09 Speaking of Money, We Are Not Collecting Much From Taxes

Continued from above This administration has one of the toughest first year any President has ever had to deal with, however, you can not go about it by saying either "everything is fine please keep moving along", or "we did not start the fire" (sorry like Billy Joel). Can not figure out if they are doing this on purpose, but history has told us that it does not work, just look at all of Europe from the 30's through today. Europe finally realized that Capitalism works, yet we take a step backwards while the rest of the world moves the other way. Heck even China, realizes the power of a spending economy. The benefit is that they also produce items so they increase their money supply through both production and consumption. Sounds familiar - like us in the late 40's through the 60's. The only difference is that we had no competition (Europe and Japan rebuilding from the War). Once competition entered, late 70's and through today, we did not adjust our business model, and now we are suffering because of it. We gave up on producing and went straight to consumption and service based model.

Electronsman - You are correct. We have this administration talking about how the economy is getting better, yet, the real unemployment numbers have not come in yet. We have not seen the effect of the new layoffs from the shut of the auto company for the summer, the closings of the dealerships from both GM and Chrysler, as well as all of the feeder companies into the auto industry. Not only do we have to worry about the Auto Companies, but now we have to worry about China slowly pulling out of our market, North Korea and Iran say I dare you to stop our missle ("rocket launch") or our nuclear programs and Israel saying if you don't do something we will, which means war for you anyways.

I hope you are right about not hitting the 15% unemployment, but I can not see how we don't lose at least 1 million more jobs just in the auto industry and the feeder companies into the Big Three (or two now) alone. Plus we will see more losses in the banking industry as these stress test seem to indicate they need more money, even though that does not seem to concern those on Wall Street for some reason. We all ready saw what Chavez is doing in Venz as he is kicking out US companies that drill oil there. This is all going to back fire at some point in time and I think the summer will just light the fuse.
The worse part is that this is only to get worse as many of the companies are on hold right now as they are waiting to see if the layoffs are enough. They will look at the numbers after 2nd Quarter and then at the end of the summer they will begin to layoff more as they try to make budget for year end assuming the economy does not improve. With gas prices going up and already an unemployment number at about 9%, plus the shut down of just about every car company over the summer, I can not see how this is going to get better. I have to think that the unemployment rate is only to go up in the 3rd/4th quarter to probably close to 15%. I hope I am wrong, but all the signs point to that mark right now. I have already survived three layoffs in the last 6 months and I am not sure I can handle going through more in another 3 to 6 months.
