I saw an expose on channel 9 not too long ago about how laden with bacteria the reusable bags get. Gross. I use plastic, reuse them at home and recycle the rest at KS. Not perfect, but something.

No, it's not in BVSD. Question, and I am asking this in all sincerity: What is this $40k building fee that the Mayor is excited about? Doesn't the money look great at first, but shouldn't the town be more interested in sustaining its developement thus far? Wouldn't commercial development be more responsible at this point to ensure more sales taxes, keeping property taxes down? I really don't know much about this, but as an Erie homeowner with a basic understanding of economics, I know that my home's resale price just took another hit. If I am wrong, PLEASE educate me, I am interested!

I have a suggestion for restaurants in Erie: team up with the schools and offer a portion of that day's sales to go directly to Erie Elem, Blackrock or the middle or HS, and you will have standing room only that night. Chick filet does it, Parkway Grill has done it. There are so many young families in this community, and they will go out to benefit their schools. You will have gotten a huge demographic in the door; if you are good, they will be back, and problem solved.
