Newt's a great talker, buy he never walked the walk. Talk is cheap and Newt's a cheap politician for sale to the highest bidder, whether its a Casino owner or Freddie Mac.

Unlike contemporary evangelicals, our Christian Founders would have had the good sense to shun someone with Newt's history of moral and ethical failings. They called it "Character". If you think Newt's smart, his intelligence without "Character", makes him dangerous, not presidential.

Even before Newt was found guilty of ethics violations BY HIS OWN PARTY - the first and only time in history - he had violated the Constitution repeatedly, like most in Congress, usurping authority that was reserved for the States and individuals. That he could now fool people by wrapping himself in a flag or wrapping himself in scripture, is a sad commentary on the public and especially on the lack of discernment of contemporary Christians.

There IS someone who has served for decades and not been corrupted by Washington - Ron Paul. There IS someone who respects the REAL king in this country, the Constitution - Ron Paul. You will never get religious freedom from people who don't respect the Constitution, no matter what lies you naively believe from the Newt Rickney trio.

There's a reason that Ron Paul is the ONLY GOP candidate that is a current office holder. It's because the other guys were all thrown out by the voters or by their fellow GOP Congressmen. Paul's integrity and electoral success should tell you that he is the most electable of the 4, regardless of the phony spin from the mainstream media.

Blaming Ron Paul for not being able to reign in the rabid reactionaries who want to turn this country into a police state so that their patrons in the military industrial complex will have a new profit center, is like blaming the GOP for not stopping ObamaCare when the Dems had the majority. Just as socialism is the very essence of the Dems, militarism is the very essence of the Repubs.

There isn't anything you can say to most GOP people when it comes to the military industrial complex. Nothing, no matter how much it costs us in money or freedom, nothing should ever stop the expansion of the military or the militarized police. To even question the NDAA is to bring on the wrath of idiots who would give away their freedom for the promise of security -- as evidenced by the commenters on this site.

Ron Paul has the longest and most consistent record of any of the candidates - and we have examined it. He's passionate and uncompromising on individual liberty -- and so are we. The newsletters are a smear for the naive and gullible.

For your information, my wife and I are in our mid fifties, my sons are just old enough to vote and my aunt is in her mid eighties. All Republicans, all conservatives, all supporting the MOST conservative member of congress by voting record between 1937-2002 (see post above).

Ron Paul had the most conservative voting record of everyone who served in Congress from 1937-2002, scoring 0.882 (the most liberal rating was -0.784). Santorum scored 0.329. Santorum is a big government, central planning MODERATE like McCain. If you don't think the government too big and intrusive, vote for him. If you want your freedom and dignity back, vote for Ron Paul.
