/Film : The Prisoner Television Teaser

"be seeing you." can't wait. so i guess no. 2 won't be played by a string of actors this time, i loved that about the original, some higher power "deleting" the number two's when they couldn't extract information from six. i also couldn't imagine a better two than ian mckellen. wow. stoked. i don't mind caveizel but he's no patrick mcgoohan, we'll see.

sorry, it was late. i had low blood sugar. but seriously, this is a fun story and it looks to me like they've turned it into maid in manhattan. what a shame.

i was going to say sign me up, damn it! but seriously, where do i sign up? what an amazing cast. and i haven't read any dennis lehane but the film versions of his stories have so far been quite riveting, (mystic river, gone baby gone), i am so on board for this after that trailer. wow.

i totally agree, he would make a great mad max. i did like him in salvation, awful movie, but it had some good moments. and i am looking forward to this for some reason, though i'm usually skeptical of remakes. but it has a good cast so far. we shall see.

/Film : Sam Raimi's Drag Me To Hell - What Did You Think?

just got back from seeing it, i am a die hard evil dead fan, and while i wouldn't put this in the same shoebox with those movies, i did really enjoy it. maybe because it's such a wink to those movies. (ash's oldsmobile, the laughing entity, floating guy who should have said "i'll swallow your soul"). I could have done without alot of the CGI, some of it was poorly done, and i could have used a blood geyser or two but all in all, it's a notch above any other recent american horror flick. it will divide people who aren't familiar with raimi's zany style, the person i was with hated it with a passion, but who needs them anyway.

oh so good to hear all these good words directed at a new gilliam movie. can't wait. i actually quite liked tideland, it was rather unsettling, and i like being unsettled. this looks like classic brazil/munchausen fare, that clip is fantastic, can't wait to see it in context. consider me jazzed.

it should be sarah silverman, jane lynch, and maybe even let sigourney strap on a proton pack. please hire funny women, and not just hot women, as much as i love beautiful women, these women need to stand alongside murray and akyroyd. the idea of jane lynch being a ghostbuster is cracking me up already.

i enjoyed it. the cast is great, with the exception of yelchin being slightly annoying. uhura can do whatever she wants and i will drool. lensflares didn't bother me, kind of liked them. i like the parallel universe theme. as much as i like the original series and films, i see this series existing right along side it comfortably. just no more "scotty in the water tank" scenes okay? all in all, this was a good setup film for future escapades, alot of dazzle, some good introductions, and lets get on with it....

No, No, No, No. absolutely not! this project sounds great!!!! a good writer, a competent director, please don't ruin it with keanu. my god who keeps hiring this guy? did they see day the earth stood still?
i agree, he's a great superman. would like to see him come back. this frightens me though. the story of dylan dog could be sooooo good if handled properly, these pics, kevin munroe and taye diggs all seem to be nails in the coffin. i'm already queasy. it better not be like "Van Helsing"!!!

well that sucked. i don't mind him messing with the mask or whatever and bringing some gritty realism to the story, i also quite like that they kept with the "same night hospital sequel bit", but sheri moon zombie shouldn't be allowed to act, especially as a ghost, ooh, spooky, and not getting a single piano note of john carpenters music is quite frankly, stupidity in a blanket. eating marshmallows. halloween will never, ever be...rob zombies halloween.

THE FINAL TWO. whatever happened to the painted color spectrum floating heads of the original movies? huh? wouldn't that have been nice? and it would have given a real artist a job, not like this photoshopped craptastical chow we're being spoonfed. i'm upset.
