West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Player Performances v Leeds United

Supporting West Ham is a choice, not a carreer move so you have options but if you make that choice the SUPPORT. Win lose or drawer because if you keep slagging everyone and everything that happens then eventually we'll not be able to attract anyone. I know the majority of supporters are just that but the minority, serial wingers, please choose another club or sport all together because you're not doing anyone any favours

What will happe N next season if we do go up and then , probably win maybe one in every four??? Whatever happened to supporting the team through thick and thin? Basically , if you eat to win every week, choose one of the Manchester clubs, if not, accept we support a team that at best will have a good cup run once in a while, will get one over on the big boys every now and again and at best creep in to the top half of the EPL.

Seeing as this will be the last. Time I post, feel free to abuse and slag me off as much as you like. I' ve supported West Ham as long as I remember, my grand parents lived on Thackery Road ( which is quite close to the ground ) just for you guys who post but have never been. I've been astounded at the negativity for a team that are currently 3rd and still have a better than average chance for a top two finish

West Ham Till I Die : Twelve Things We Learned From the Doncaster Game

Sack BFS you say? Fine but who would come in any better? Chelski are struggling to attract a manager and they have millions. We had nothing at the ebd of last season, no wins, no drive & no belief. We now have a chance of winning something and still we moan. Sometimes I wonder why certain fans just son't take the SKY TV option and just support Man Utd

If I'n honest and you'd offered me 2nd place, mid March at the beginning of the season I'd have taken it. Yes, we're not performing too well at home at the moment but as supporters we have a choice, we can, as seems the fashion in fooitball, scream for Allardyce to be sacked, boo the team at home and then absolve any responibility at the end of the season, because after al, we pay our money, or, we can behave like the crowds of the past and support West Ham through thick & thin and try and be positive through out.........

West Ham Till I Die : Scruples: Who's the Baddie?

I think that although this is a serious issue not just in football, but society in general, the ultimate cheap shot if you like. The plus side is we have got rid of a manager who had no understanding of the english game, and a captain that's well passed his sell by date, hopefully Lampard will follow him out of the door and we can take a chance on some of the younger talent in the english game, well as long as it's ok with the kowledgable chaps at the FA that is!

West Ham Till I Die : Noble Shows his Quality, as Tomkins Also Demonstrates his Adaptability!

I'm not sure the OS is the way forward, there's more & more emphasise on clubs not over spending these days and not going out and buyin success a la Chelsea & Man City. Maybe a 40 - 45000 Upton Park with a superb accademy like ours might be the way forward in the modern game

I think Mark Noble has shown his qulities in the premiership, he's just been far to often in a struggling team with bad managers and awfull team mates. SA seems to be a guy that understands players as people first and is able to give them the confidence to push on Faubert, Ried & Noble have obviously benefitted and you only have to hear what CC has had to say about the manager and staff wanting him to do well and stay. I think sonetimes we look to hard for a grey cloud in the silver lining. As for Southampton, as every other team this year, they will raise thier game against us so I'll take another 1 0 win, a drawer if I must.

Last point, some of these guys haven't had the benifit of a secure area to live in and have been bought up in rough ares with tough times and it will take time to adjust, the lad is only responding to threats the way he has all his life. How many of us can honestly say we've not responded in an unpleasent manner when we've been threatened, if this fella is still behaving like this in two or three years time then fine, he's not likely to change but to expect change within a week isn't going to happen

My question is why has the FA jumped on this? Why have they all of a sudden become the high inquisitor whem thier own double standars are there to see, West Ham had already stated that they were dealing with this, if they hadn't then fair enough but they had. It's the same with the complete mess of the John Terry situation, don't get me wrong, I don't personally think it's any great loss to see the back of Capello but two identicle cases with JT and Suarez that have been dealt with so differently. To a lesser degree it's the same with what gets you a red card and the same use of video evidence. Nolan, off for his challenge, Suarez allowed to stay on after blatently just kicking Parker in the stomach. Ballotelli banned after a SKY TV appeal but they won't use the same technoligy to award goals that have been disallowed when they should have stood or to resind redc cards when a player has obviously dived or play acted.

West Ham Till I Die : Transfer Forum Wednesday 25th January

Then let's sign no one, 7, 8 or 9 million is too much to be paying for a guy that we could probably get for 3 or 4 in the summer. We were scoring well at the beginning of the season and I think this squad is capable of doing so again, especially with Taylor coming back. Surely we've seen enough mercenary's at the club over the last 5 or 6 years. Look at the progress Norwich have made over the laste 3 seasons and they haven't spent any where near the figures quoted for this guy. I think we'll get pronoted this year so let's save our cash for the summer so we can build on what we need to stabalise in the top tear for a year or two and push on

West Ham Till I Die : Transfer Update Wednesday 18th January

I wonder what it's like to support other clubs? I f they go through the same old mill every January? One thisng positive was seeing Carlton on Sky Sports this morning, I know he can be frustrating when things aren't falling right for him but he strikes me as a decent bloke doing the decent thing which is quite rare in the modern game. Back to my pipe, slippers n comfy chair now then

West Ham Till I Die : Should we add a Goal Keeper to the January Transfer Wish List?

Does anyone know anything about the Japaneses lad? I'm a bit concerned about Demels cousin, nephew, next door nieghbor who ever he is, apparently the scouts weren't impressed but we're still interested??? The lad from Barnet who started the season well but his forms dipped??? I'm used to being linked with Becks, Messi, Ronaldo and then eding up with the likes of Benni McDonalds so this change of trend is a bit alarming. In comparion, if Arsenal have Henry back, maybe we'll be replacing Green with Alan McNightmare!

Who is out there to invest though Aussie? Fernandez? I'm not sure he would have been any better than what we have, The transfer targets have been similar, Anton , Barton etc. Everton are an established EPL team and there's no investment forthcoming.

First time in a while that I''ve come on and have to ask, what's the problem???? We're 2nd Automatic Promotion place and we're not losing! Of course Southampton look good but the nucleus of their team have been together for 3 season or so. West ham were in free fall under Grant and in a short time have become a unit, as any supporter of teams that have been in the championship and they'll tell you any team can beat any other on any day. I'm reading thatNolan's crap??? Come on guys, who would you rather have Upson? Look at the new lease of life Faubert has had, look at the chance the Sears has been given, look at the fact Green is still with us and that's bad management huh? Let's be a bit more realistic, we're skint SA has had to do the best he can with limited resources, something Mclaran & Sven have already failed at with a lot more money available. Being top now and 5 points clear means absolutely nothing in April next year. Yes things haven't looked pretty at times but the team is still growing and needs support not all this sniping. Bluntly put, if you want to win every week, move to Spain and watch Barcelona, real West Ham Fans do what they have been doing for years supporting the team through better or worse and belive me we've had a lot worse than we're seeing now

West Ham Till I Die : Results: Player Performances v Peterborough

At the risk of sounding like an old broken record, SA is BUILDING something here and it will take time, the good thing about it is is that we're getting results while we're doing it. A 1-0 win has been rarer than rocking horse s*&t in recent seasons, so to grind one out is a step forward. this isn't a pretty league but look about it, Sven struggling with all the cash at Leicester, McClaren floundering at Forest, West Ham were in a bigger mess than both of these clubs last August and there's been a massive improvement. Baldock will get his chance, hopefully sooner rather than later, then it's up to him to make sure he keeps it. Bentley is showing some of his old form, Lansbury is growing in confidence as is Noble. Nolan might not be everything he was at Newcastle but he does lead the players, which again is a massive improvement on what we have had recently. Also it might pay to remember how we all wanted Curbs gone roughly 3 years ago while, if I remember right, we were something like 4th in the EPL? think given the time, SA could bring as much success as Redknap, maybe even the great John Lyall but he needs time & support, the board for once, seems to be giving it so perhaps we should too
