/dev/rand : Ok I know SOMEONE must know - Konami SSQ (DDR) files

My problem isn't really in understanding the freeze arrows so much..but getting Konami's own engine to properly read the freeze arrows right, it can't do it with the out of the box files.. but I guess you can only expect this from a demo version of a full product which isn't even complete yet. Thanks for the tip.. I'll catch up with him, I'm going to be writing the opposite- SM back into SSQ

You'll find in the app folder that there is a hana.mp3, and a hana.ssq, those are the two files used for the demo song. The other difficulty steps (including Doubles.. lol) are in there too but the demo only looks at Single Basic steps You'll also find other .ssq, which gives us an idea of what they might plan on putting on... it all seems hardcoded for now but hopefully they will have some sort of downloadable song support that doesn't use DRM/encryption and this would go into some library folder somewhere...That would be our key through the door without having to swap existing songs for custom songs. If anyone wants the edited SSQ for hana for heavy steps just contact me with your email

Cheers man. Apparently its used in Ultramix and other DDR games - but it sounds like the format may vary slightly between games..
