Those in the locker room rolling their eyes must be ignorant as to who Brock Lesnar is compared to them. His name value alone is worth twice as much (if not more) than many in said locker room. Not saying that they CAN'T be as big, simply that they are not at this point.

No, but sometimes "someone" says something that you can't help but to retort to.

Glad to see his whole heel persona is working out for you! ;-)

Completely different context. Vince was trying to sound cool and "hip" not speaking in an ostensibly derogatory manner.

Cesaro looks COMFORTABLE in his bad ass suit. His charisma may not be that of a Shawn Michaels or John Cena (yet) but he looks natural in his role, and that is a quality that simply cannot be taught. If you watch someone like a Roman Reigns you can see the gears literally turning in his head as he tries to balance remembering lines/looking tough/ focusing on the hard camera, but every time I see Cesaro I am reminded of how he has his presence and mannerisms down to looking natural. Perhaps he didn't always have this; perhaps it took years on the indy circuit to achieve, but the man has it now.

So, yea.... #PushCesaro

Rollins seems like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with. Although shows like these don't add to character development per se, they do add to the depth of Rollins as an actual human being, and that is just as important, if not more so, in the scheme of things.

As someone that writes fiction (admittedly just as a hobby, but I digress) I love the way you structure your LU pieces. Being an avid reader, more so than an avid TV-watcher coupled with the often boring, repetitive nature of RAW, long have I wished that a "reader's companion" to RAW would be published; a piece that would dramatize WWE's flagship program in written form. Reading your pieces piques my interest of Lucha Underground to the point that I look up the episodes to recapture the elements you describe. So... uhh... yea... thanks for the piece!

Do you think that this is leading up to Vampiro turning and siding with Pentagon? Maybe if there is another luchador that takes up for Vampiro, and it leads to Vampiro/Pentagon Jr. against whomever? Just a thought. Seems inline with wrestling logic.

Owens vs. Zayn was the first time in quite a while that I had a full, sustained suspension of disbelief. I remember watching it live with my girlfriend (who, like most ladies, doesn't quite understand my fascination with "wrasslin") and she wasn't too impressed. Indeed, the full-on slaughtering of Zayn was far from a technical masterpiece, but that is exactly what made it so awesome to those of us who follow professional wrestling. Towards the end the mark inside me could have sworn there was legitimate beef between Kevin and Sami with his relentless powerbombs, and then when the referee handed Owens the belt I was sure we were witnessing some kind of mistake happening.

Although this style of match has been done before in WWE (Lesnar vs. Cena comes to mind) the two characters involved made the bout stand head and shoulders above any comparison. Zayn isn't the same Superman-esque character as Cena, and they spent so much time building him up (in terms of NXT, at least) that to see him literally crushed back down to challenger rather than champ so quickly and efficiently caught me off guard. What's more, Owens had had very little time in NXT to establish himself as a human cannonball, and considering how short of a timespan it took him to go from debut to champion, his dominance was shocking.

This match goes to show that WWE can capitalize on the histories of new signings successfully. Although the build-up to the match was well handled, it didn't justify the match having as much of an emotional impact as it actually did. Without NXT highlighting their years-long friendship, I really don't think we would be talking about this as a probable match of the year contender right now.

Alright, I'm done reminiscing: sorry about that! I love MOTY type columns because they give us a chance to remember the gems present throughout much of the mediocre programming WWE produces, and yours is very well written. Thanks!

I like the idea of this column, and I think you're a good writer... but I wish you would offer more insight rather than just mainly doing recaps. It is nice to have all five of the big shows recapped in one place, but more in-depth show results can be found in the "Results" section. Your analysis - such as the difference in Ambrose's style this time around - is very interesting, and I'd like to see more of that. I know I am echoing a sentiment given last week, but I really think you could have something truly special if you put more of your opinion in, so I thought I'd comment.

Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to write this!
