We the taxpayers will be giving GM more money, unemployment compensation on top of the bailout money. It all comes from the same place and goes to the same people. Reorganize upon bankruptcy. It is not like all the GM plants would close or all the workers would be out of a job. The restructuring would keep that which is sound and get rid of that which is pulling the whole corporation down. Make sense?

Now even a blind man could see why all the screaming about wiretaps of foreign originated calls to our Democrats in Congress. They know they are having deals that are not legal. The answer is that they with a willing media, deflect the issue and turn it into an "abuse of power issue" rather than what they did. "I think I didn't do it" is weasel wording. No one can prove what someone really thought. It is like "I don't recall" another impossible statement to prove wrong. The next minute their could be recollection that she did do it and no lies would have been provable. The idiots that vote for these people are too stupid to understand this. That is why they are victims all the time. Truth is they are victims of their own stupidity. I wonder if the middle of the roaders who put these Democrats in office are happy now.

Supporting the First Amendment means as I tried to explain before, that government can not pass laws abridging free speech. Non government entities can limit what is in their interest. This is a site for a productive project. Not a site for debating liberals who want to attack it. How is it that the Black Caucus limits itself to black liberal members only? Have you been writing to them about how they are limiting free speech?

That is to protect speech from government sanction. Private organizations are not the guarantors, they can set their own reasonable limitations so that their common grounds for existence are not undermined, as you are trying to do. I think you need to understand that this is not a government or political party website and go to one that has a theme of political argument.

Good comment! Liberals politicize everything. They stand for nothing beyond themselves. They are wrong and they know it, deep down. They have no logic or principles, only raw emotional response to an early impression made on them. And they are too insecure to ever doubt themselves. They know they have only learned standpoints and not a principled foundation. For them to ever admit they are wrong would leave them without basis for everything else they have adopted as beliefs.

I am sure that the same Brown University student body would tell you that they vehemently support immigrants bringing their cultural traditions with them and celebrating them. In fact, they encourage it. But, our culture and traditions are to be attacked so the students can feel that are "good" people. Why don't they all give their property and Brown University to the Indians and go back where their ancestors came from. That would really be doing something for the Indians rather than just "feel good" tearing down this country's culture and traditions. But then, they would actually be doing something to their selfish selves.

I agree with you vehemently. I would add that we need a balanced budget requirement and no new or increased taxes unless voted on by the electorate. We have spent enough on education. The problem isn't more money, it is how and what is being or not being taught.

Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, nor prohibit the free exercise thereof... it is because of the 2 Amendment that you can feel secure to be an atheist. Don't you understand that? Congress can pass no law that makes you have to follow a government chosen religion or any religion. That protects your right to be an atheist as well as my right to be a Christian and to practice my religion without government punishing me. The same as not punishing you. Read the words, don't look at the words and read what you have been emotionally told. We welcome you and thanks for your thoughts.
