If I lived in California, had the money, and wanted a four-door luxury car, I would buy a Model S in a heartbeat. But right now I don't live near any Super Charger stations, I can't afford an electric car that's not a Geo Metro powered by a forklift motor and lead-acid batteries, and I'd rather have a small sports car.

My roommate has one, and I drove it for a few days while my Miata was in the shop. I had to take corners a lot slower, and it was harder to park, but otherwise it was a great highway cruiser and soaked up the potholes with nary a jolt transmitted to my posterior.

About ten years ago my mom traded her Dodge Caravan for a Highlander, which in my opinion is a worse car in almost every single way. Now that all my younger siblings have drivers licenses, she's been driving a Prius instead, and prefers it over the Highlander. Probably the only reason she still has the Highlander is because it easily hauls my brother's upright bass.
