Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : President Obama Wants Europe To See The GOOD That America Does

Old Army Vet you are spot on. It is time for the Europenas and the United nations to take lead in taking care of the rest of the world. Let's see if they can do a good a job of it just like they did during WW1& 2. LMAO the world will go to hell in a hand basket when they take lead but I say let em try. Let's close our purse strings, let's stand down the might of our military, let' s close our caring hearts to the rest of this ungrateful world and then they will see how "arrogant", and "derisive we truly are. What a bunch of ungrateful countries these are. And I realize that your leaders do not speak for all of the Europenas but they speak for the majority, otherwise they would not be there leaders.

What Obama fails to realize is that America has a right to be "proud' and not arrogant as he so chose to call us. It was America that defended the freedoms of Europeans all over and kept them from being one country speaking German or Russian. It was America that defended the liberties of people all over the world when those same people chose not to stand up for their own freedoms. How dare Obama shame our country with his apologetic speech and his ass-kissing of this Euro-socialists. Unfreakin believable. The time for impeachment is drawing nearer and nearer and it is time for a strong America-loving represenative to call Obamas words treasonous.

If this is not found un-constitutional then nothing they do from here on will be either. I cannot understand how they will be able to get away with this. It is time to seriously be worried about our Constitutional rights and freedoms but more about the limits the Constitution places on our government.

CK1- just wanted to let you know that the survey has a flaw. Under question 1 you can only select yes, no, and unsure 1 time and I believe in term limits for all state, local, and federal

I just can't believe that you are that blind. I will never understand those that don't think for themselves but continously post the left-wing talking points. I think you need to study the Constitution a little bit closer and with an open mind. As for Rush, Sean, Anne and the rest of the right wing conservative talk show hosts, if you had ever listened with an open mind you may not be following like a sheep now. Please explain to me why the left cannot provide such shows without government aide? Because no one believes there rhetoric and tires of the ignorant vehemence and their intolerant attitudes.

I am sorry for the incident in which your wife was shot and I do not mean to be cruel but did you ever stop to think that person may not have been a legal gun owner. Gun control only impacts the legal gun owner and has no impact on those owning guns illegally. And furthermore it is a Constitutional right to own a gun and it is not a Constitutional right to have health care. As for taxing the rich more that is nothing more than wealth redistribution. There are other ways ,and I may be wrong but don't we already have state sponsored hosptital and clinics, I believe we do. And who pays for those? All taxpayers. And as far as religous belief , the freedom of expressing them is what this nation was built around. Being liberal really should not be a reason to think we are all 'entitled" to things.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : If you visit the White House Web Site . . .

iamrbird- Not trying to be rude sir, but this is exactly the type of thinking that has gotten us into trouble. We should not be relying on the president or the rest of the gov't to "fix" anything. They are the ones that broke it to begin with. And that includes members of both parties. What we need to do is fix this for ourselves by organizing and plan on how "we" the people can fix this.

Bob, I believe you are a bit misguided and ensure you that you have the right to state your opinion whether you agree with Glenn Beck or not. As long as it is in a thoughtful and respectful way that generates discussion in a positive manner. There is no room for personal and bofted attacks and hatred here. Hope to continue seeing you here for thoughtful and courteous discussion

Weblicated- This is not the site to either be PC or forgiving of such people as George. During my search for this site I came across many left-wing blogs who spouted the same trash with such vehemence that I would have been shocked if I had known them for what they where. I agree "name calling" will not help but neither will "being tolerant" of such people. That is one of the things that has brought our country to where it is. This level of "tolerance" where even wrong is right. That is unacceptable and there are other sites for George to go spew his filth. No longer can we be tolerant of things that are detrimental to the 12 values and the 9 principles. That time is now over.

Well Said Frank. I believe too that this is the only way to make the Congress and Senate perform their duties to the American people. Term limits and limits on benefits. Being a congressman or senator is no longer a sacrifice to the individual but a career objective. I say put them back on the per -diem system of the early days. Maybe this will make them think twice about whether they are doing it for us or themselves. ;-)

Mike, In the spirit of debate I must disagree with your view on term limits. I believe right now the best thing that could happen to our Congress and Senate is to have term limits. It has been the exercise of our civic duties that has lead us to the point where we are at. These people have been duly elected and will continue to be re-elected as long as people with the mindset of "what can you (gov't) do for me?" continue to exercise their civic duty. However in saying that , not do I only believe that their should be term limits but there should also be a limit to the amount of "perks" our supposed "civil servants' receive. No longer should they continue to receive lifetime retirement benefits nor lifetime health care benefits ( and on and on). There once was a time where being a congressman or senator was a "civil duty" performed for the people and not a career path for the individual. Those times need to be returned and one of the best ways to turn it in that direction is to impose term limits and make being a congressman and senator a civil duty again. As in the 9th principle-9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. Who works for whom? “I consider the people who constitute a society or a nation as the source of all authority in that nation.” Thomas Jefferson
