I've always had a survivalist hidden in me and now is the time for her to come out. We have always grown and preserved our own crops but now it seems to be a need. We are also raising our own chickens ( the eggs are great) and plan on butchering this fall. People need to prepare for what could happen and realize that everything is a learning experience. I know my in-laws think we'recrazy (they are in L.A.) but I know we'll be okay through all this. I do worry about them though. None of them would ever leave there, or if they do it'll be bad by then and maybe impossible. I believe that we as a country can survive but also know that we could lose it if people don't act. Anyway, after all this rambling, I think people should work on community gardens, etc. to help like-minded neighbors out. We are a family of retired Army and have always been proud to serve this country, but now all we, and all our predecessors, have fought for seems to be for naught. When my joined and took his oath he swore to protect and defend this country, against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. Our greatest enemy right at this moment is our own government. What would it take to start a movement for the citizens of each state to start recall proceedings on each and every one of the people in Washington?
