If you had read my previous post you would understand the reasons for my FAIL on the Android. I did however say I would be willing to try it again in the future. Your comment is pretty intense without anything to back up your position. Why not comment on what you like about the droid relative to what I did not like about it?

Technoramblings of the digitally insane : Why most small business owners hate their IT companies. A follow up post.

Every case is slightly different but for the most part I test everything I can before I even think about recommending it to a client. Just as I would not try to fix the brakes on my car by myself because I have never done that before, I would never sell/install something I have never used before and just hope to be able to support it. That is a recipe for disaster! In the Microsoft world, however, testing prodcuts is fairly easy. You can sign up for their Action Pack Subscription. <a href="https://partner.microsoft.com/40016455%3C/a%3E" rel="nofollow">&lt;a href=&quot;https://partner.microsoft.com/40016455</a>" target="_blank"&gt;https://partner.microsoft.com/40016455 . It is a program Microsoft offers to IT/Sales teams for about $400 a year they send you all of their products, fully licensed, to use for demonstrations and for testing in house/lab. It is a great way to become familiar with their products before you attempt to install them at a location. I also have found that almost every software vendor will send out a demo of their products, especially the high end software companies, for things such as backup solutions.

Technoramblings of the digitally insane : Are you in the market for a new Verizon Wireless Smartphone?

If you were talking about the Samsung Rogue, it is not a Smartphone. It does however requires a Data plan that almost anyone would exceed in a month. $9.99 for 25MB or $19.99 for 75MB

Which Samsung model? $199 for a PDA/Smartphone is pretty reasonable regardless of signing a new 2 year term. It is what I paid for the iPhone 3G when I got it. The cost of the Data Plans the carriers charge is a bit high though.

I was actually sent to an office once by a local isp who needed an Asterisk specialist for one of their clients they provide T1 service to. The office hired a 3rd party to do their setup and wow was it horrible. I quoted them the bare minimum for equipment and time, and instead of paying to fix it, the owner felt that he already spent money they would just deal with the issues.

I have a buddy in Minnesota who also prefers PBXNSIP, but I just love the flexibility of Asterisk and programming custom solutions with it.
