Dear DBCoop, thank you for your kind words. And while I am getting real busy with the project designs, voting choices, collaborating with the amazing DIY team, that will bring all these wishes and dreams for the next Blog Cabin Maine into reality, I will be checking in with all of you...I value your thoughts and when time permits I will keep you as up to date as I can...As you all know there is a rhyme and reason to how Blog Cabin evolves. So I will not interfere or change the order of how things work...the other people responsible for making this amazing project move forward will do what they have done in the past....So know that more will be revealed, stay tuned and I'm confident all will be great....

Me too, My sweet pug Baxter, who was at Blog Va. has passed after being the most loving boy for 14 years. I now have Roxie the Dane, Ruby my Frenchie and now Baker the new baby boy Dane...will soon get his photo on to my site. They are our best teacher of \"unconditional love\"....V

Dear Sweet Liz, \"One day at a time\" is best advice for even floor plan junkies...Have patience, you will not be disappointed. There are many meetings, ideas going back and forth between those involved in making this place great...but you know the drill, we check out the bones of the house, we take into account the view, the needs, the desires and when we have the best plan for \"this house\" it goes to Mary and she will get it posted. We have a time line and within that period we want to make sure we have taken into account all the variables that one faces when doing a rehab on an old house....so stay tuned, more to come xo Victoria designDIY

Good morning LL, I too am imagining myself traveling around Maine. Just the 3 days there has me so excited about this Spring, when I get to spend more time there working with such great talent, creating the best Blog Cabin...As for the dogs, they do well as long as we are all together...not always easy for me since they refuse to learn to drive...oh well what's a girl to do ??? Dear Debra, My pleasure and thanks for your note...As for the move, yes I do and I don't miss home as long as the pooches are along...There are more dog friendly places these days and my guys are pretty good. At this time however there is a new baby so I will have my hands full while designing and picking and choosing...it's oK though since I love my work...So stay tuned..more to come...

Hello to all DIY Bloggers. Just got back from Maine, OMG...this next Blog cabin is sooooo amazing. This is my first trip to Maine and I am in love with another piece of America. The people I met are great, the food I ate, great, the towns and shops I visited, great and of course the house is going to be GREAT....Great team from the Knickerbocker group to work with as well as our very talented hosts, so know that I am so psyched. Spoke last night with Anitra from Mega Dens and you will not believe the space she will have to transform into the best "Mega Den" ever. So while you know how it goes, I start picking the products you get to vote on....we start designing the DIY projects, I get to shop (how much fun is that) and then I move myself and my 4 legged friends (there is a new baby in the mix, a baby boy named Baker, and yes it's another Dane) to Maine to bring this dream home into reality...So I will be checking in with you guys, reading your comments and so the journey begins...more to be revealed so stay tuned xoxo Victoria designDIY

Also know I approach each home as if I'm meeting the family that will reside within its space, taking into account what will be expected and how it can fill those needs.�There is a psychology to be considered and throughout this process I will include the why behind the choices.
