Desi (Indian) Backpacker : Caught In No Man's Land at the Turkish Border

That is definitely one of the things I'm thinking about, but it's a lot of work. And it would be hard to compete with the established players. But I do believe we need travel guides written from an Indian POV.

Desi (Indian) Backpacker : Planning My First RTW Trip (Part 2 - Budget)

Hey Kuldeep, yes I am connecting with local people or people based in these places. Without that travel is a very empty experience - just a series of pictures. I will be passing through DC, so I'll message you then!

Well I was completely at a loss for a while but then I realised that eventually someone will solve the situation. They wouldn't leave me hanging around in the border area forever! The guy at the Embassy was very comforting too.

Totally agree. These scams are truly fascinating to read about. You can read some stories on forums and it´s all the same over and over again.

I didn't really blog the 2008 trip while on it. I just wrote a few posts from my paper journals when I started this site. So most of the 2008 trip is actually missing from this site!

Hey Abhijit Believe it! And the tea is as strong, so since it's milkless I guess at least some sugar is necessary. About taste, well nothing can really beat cutting chai...

I believe that is exactly how it happened. The timeline might seem a bit dodgy, given that System of a Down are still living, but then again, my watch is always out of sync. I have included a link with "dost" and "thou" for the more biblically minded :)
