It seems my reaction to every new remake is a dreaded groan anymore (except for Batman Begins, of course). It's like my expectations have gone from "This might be good" to "I wonder how horrible this one will be". I want to be excited about a film again and haven't since Dark Knight. It was still in the old radio I abused for a decade. Just for fun I pressed play and I was overwhelmed with nostalgia. It is it's own time capsule in a way.
