I wouldn't call it hounding, exactly. But it is something I've been meaning to do for a while, only I simply couldn't afford to go ahead and press up more CDs. I've been wanting to re-press Lemodie for the last couple of years, but that's entirely up to Benbecula, whom I can only pester so much. AMD won't appear on CD, but some of my other unreleased material might -- I'll probably compile the best of the unreleased stuff, perhaps even a double CD, but at the moment priority lies on the official releases.

I had AMD in FLAC etc. on Bandcamp, but looking at the stats relatively few people were downloding it, so I removed it. I'd prefer to focus on my official releases now, as there's enough of it.

Yeah, obviously this precludes selling anything off Lemodie or Like Dust, but for future tracks I might give it a shot. You're right, single sides is cheaper -- I wonder if I could print a design on it, as it's basically a glorified slide transparency. Oh, I'd like to get a deck too -- yep, I couldn't even test this!

Thanks Jeff! Yep, streaming makes sense to me these days---in our attention-starved online world, I'm not going to make it any more difficult for people to listen to my music than the multitude of diversions already makes it. That's a horrible sentence, but you get the gist of it!

Yep, a shame it is, but as sales are so poor in the current climate, it makes sense to focus efforts on more potentially financially rewarding pursuits, as I believe Benbecula is (working the publishing side of things a bit harder, chasing syncs etc.). No idea what I'll be doing though, to be honest, but given how long it took to get this album together, I wouldn't fancy my chances at getting another album out any time soon. We'll have to see what happens.

Well, never say never; it's just I can't afford to pay for it at the moment, and neither can Benbecula. I'm sure it'll happen, just not as soon as I'd hoped. If I do play live again, I'd love to come to the states!

Not sure yet. I'll have to implement a rigorous feasibility study once I've returned to Ochre Towers, by checking my bank balance. If I can squeeze the whole album on a single 12 without it sounding like the loading screen from Daley Thompson's Decathlon on the Spectrum, then we're set. May have to carry out some judicious track edits, though, which will pain me greatly.

There were many occasions when I feared I wouldn't be able to complete it, that I couldn't work on any more music (compounded by the fact that it's been three long years since Lemodie). So I'm just glad it's finally out there.
