OK - we're new to this site and agree with just about everything Glenn says - almost. My wife and I are both in our 60's. I served in the armed forces from 1967 to 1971 during that other war. We both campaigned for George McGovern back then. OK hold your horses - it gets better. Heck, we even voted for Carter when that peanut head ran for office. But that woke us up BIG TIME. The Reagan years were the best ever and we were proud of him and how he lifted this country out of the dumps. I get teary-eyed just thinking about the fact that he's gone!

And now here we go again. With a president who got elected on nothing but his rock star status. I still say Sarah Palin has it all over this guy - but that's another issue. Back to reality - More debt, more taxes, bailouts, loss of freedom, flip-flps, apologies for being the greatest nation on Earth - it's all too much. (See next comment for the rest).
