Article XVIII�The Blessed Hope

We believe that, according to the Word of God, the next great event in the fulfillment of prophecy will be the coming of the Lord in the air to receive to Himself into heaven both His own who are alive and remain unto His coming, and also all who have fallen asleep in Jesus, and that this event is the blessed hope set before us in the Scripture, and for this we should be constantly looking (John 14:1�3; 1 Cor. 15:51�52; Phil. 3:20; 1 Thess. 4:13�18; Titus 2:11�14).

Just to give you a little info on the blog:

Started the blog in October of 2007.

1,493 posts so far.

Currently approaching 70,000 visitors monthly (and growing)

I'm planning on importing all past comments into the IntenseDebate system as soon as they
get a few bugs worked out.

I've always tried to keep it clean and simple.

I also remember the day�he was killed - I was at a youth bible retreat.

to remind me it's all by the grace of God.

I had a feeling this was going to be a popular post. It's actually the first article posted on this blog dealing with the subject of capital punishment since I started the blog back in October of 2007. I've moved it up to the 'Featured Posts' section.

This article by Joseph Farah was really well written, and is a great subject to debate. I happen to personally agree with Mr. Farah on this one.

Mark, you make a very good point about distinguishing between individual rights and governmental rights.

I must say I really enjoy reading all the comments.

I haven't had the opportunity to meet him in person yet, but I did have a brief email conversation with him about a week ago.

I too have always enjoyed his articles. Seems like a pretty smart guy.

J. Dunn,

Where specifically in Mr. Kelley's article did he even imply 'putting Christ's redeemed back into the sin box'?

I agree with you that Christ died once for all, and that we the Church are no longer under the old law, but under the new covenant. I don't see where Mr. Kelly contradicted any of this.
