The government is constitutionally barred from engaging in religious sacraments. Fighting happens when the line separating church and state gets skewed as seen through giving tax credits for married couples and not other couples. There should be no government benefits for married couples and then there would be no fight between gay, non gay and domestic partners to gain equal benefits. Health benefits for spouses is a company perk and not a right. Simple solution really, obey the constitution and we wouldn't be in this mess.

I'll worry about my car's emissions after we stop all of Earth's volcanoes from erupting.

I'd rather we concentrate on adaptation then laying blame. I'm personally buying more Bermuda shorts and a boat and dreaming of the day when my home on the hill is waterfront property.

How come we have a ratings system for films, TV episodes, music and games yet adult oriented material is forbidden on radio? I am not forced to listen to 700 club no more than you are forced to hear Howard Stern. Turn it off if you don't like what you hear but why is freedom always to blame in America? It's not a coincidence I'm certain.

What makes them right wing? To quote our constitution "All men(and women) are created equal and are endowed by their creator with unalienable rights". This is a right wing position and this group doesn't maintain that position so why are they right wing?

......because government agencies protect eachother. Remember Venus Velazquez, who was running for city council, was busted for DUI but the info didn't come out for a month until after the election. They get away with it because of American apathy towards politics so now we are governed by tyrants.

Not to mention that Jane Hague and Richard McIver had similar circumstances.

Bravo for the commentors of this article to be so well informed to not believe in the man made global warming witch hunt. Governments will preach any myth which gains them additonal powers over us, even though they don't believe it themselves. Obama is mighty comfy in the 72 degree oval office as is Al Gore in his 10,000 square foot home.
