Great comment Sara, I agree. I would venture to say that success is almost entirely based on preparing beforehand and putting yourself in situations where you can take advantage of luck/opportunity when it knocks. I use the word luck simply to convey how elusive those “knocks at the door” can be, and that there’s rarely ever a magical formula to create such opportunities. Just a short while ago I was in Boston and had a great chat with Bo Peabody on the topic, he authored one my favorite books on the art of success: Lucky or Smart?, definitely worth the quick read!
