I like Mike Huckabee. That man has values and principles and isn't mangled in corruption. He got stuff done in Arkansas even with a huge Democrat majority in the state houses. I encourage y'all to read his book, "Do the Right Thing'. Its good and he explains why we need less government, a new tax system (FairTax... which is actually really good from what I've been reading), and the 912 values and principles (not by name but its pretty obvious).

My recent post on my blog... http://www.collegekidramblings.wordpress.com Al Sharpton (why is he important again?) is claiming that Sheriff Joe Arpaio (The world’s toughest sheriff) unfairly targets Hispanics in his illegal immigration raids. Seriously? Let’s think about what kind of illegal immigrants are going to enter Arizona? Umm, probably the closest ones… Hispanics! It’s not unfair. It’s just fact. Let it go Sharpton. Let this man do his job! It’s about time someone does. Illegal immigrants are law breakers and should be prosecuted as such. They shouldn’t be given any special treatment. I am so sick of people like Al Sharpton who fight against our law in the name of civil rights. It’s ridiculous. Just my opinion.

Here is my response on my blog (http://www.collegekidramblings.wordpress.com) about the story about Barbara Boxer and her issues... Senator Barbara Boxer (D – Ca) goes ahead and asks Brigadier General Michael Walsh to refer to her as “Senator” instead of ‘Ma’am”. This story makes me laugh but kind of irks me for two reasons. (One) This man is a general. This is a man who lives his life in service to our country and her freedom. A man who should be respected. Instead, she doesn’t address him by his title and her little interjection was rude and disrepsctful. (Two) I don’t know what made her so upset. My own mother said, “I’d be happy if people called me ‘ma’am.” Senator Boxer, don’t be so worried about your precious title. You’ll get it back once you start earning it by fixing this mess we’re in.

You hit the nail on the head Annie. I'm willing to do my part. Once we get something going, everyone needs to go in whole-heartedly. We'll need to post in the blogs (like mine hehe, collegekidramblings.wordpress.com), wear t-shirts, go events, engage people (at work, coffee shop, etc), and stand up for what is right! There has been much talk about a new party or reforming the Republican party or whatever. I don't really care if we stick with the Republican party or form a new one as long as we change Washington for the better and get out of this mess! We need men and women who are more concerned about the people of America rather than their next term. We need people who are not involved in all the corrupt bogusness that goes on in DC. We need people who care and support the values and principles that built this great nation. If we could get some genuine, unwavering believers in the 912 in office and replace the Congress we have now, we'd be on the fast track to restoring America. We can't let this crap continue. I love you guys and I love America. It's time we change it. We cannot go on without one heck of a fight come 2010 let alone right now. Call your reps! Call the president. I don't care! But stuff like the hiring of 'czars' is ridiculous. I want it to end. Phew, there is my vent for the day... and that only scratches the surface.

I get fired up every time I read just a couple of y'alls comments. I love it! Tonight I was in the grocery store and I asked how the checker was doing. He replied with, "I'm workin hard, paying my taxes, and watching the govt and Obama screw everything else up" lol He then told me that he had the audiobook version of Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny" on the walkie system for all the night crew to listen to. First, Glenn Beck, sir, You are a great American and I thank you for your patriotism. I am 'just' a college kid and I am so outraged by this countries direction and lack of opposition to it. We are headed digging a deep hole and I'm beginning to fear we won't be able to climb out. I am determined to somehow make a difference and I know many of you want to as well.
