I am going to break my silence this one time because I believe this is important. Mr. Kaine, I want to thank you for the response. I want to thank you, not for the apology, but because it wasn't necessary and you did it anyways. That sir, is very honorable and I thank you. I also want to point out that as long as you and I agree on what we want for this country, how we get there is always open for discussion. I also want to point out, I do not advocate violence especially against Americans, and I also agree with you that if war is hell, a civil war in this country would be much much worse! I cannot think of anything I would want less. I stand with you Mr. Kaine and everyone else who want nothing more than PEACE, our Liberty, and our Constitution first and foremost. Fellow Americans, I am nothing without my integrity, and I made a promise that should 5 people doubt our intentions or who we say we are, we would gladly step aside for the sake of the conservative movement, and it is clear from the posts recently that we have become a hindrance. So let it be done. I want to leave you all with this article I saw out of Canada of all places. It is pretty sad when those looking in can see so much better than we can, what is happening to this country and just how far along we are. I challenge you, should you have enjoyed, agreed, or even disagreed with what we have said, to read this in it's ENTIRETY. Many thanks to all of the soldiers and patriots on this site, you make us so proud to be Americans. To the people on this site who have disagreed with us and even said some fairly inappropriate things - you know who you are and you know you would NEVER have the courage to say any of those things to my wife or I in person - I also thank you, because you ARE the reason this country IS so great, because of your right to disagree even if it is offensive. Nicole, Thank you so much for the reply, I agree with you about this site, and it really is a shame. I want you to know I deleted the post, I know all too well what happens when a military mom gets mad, I am married to one. More importantly, I agree with you that the reason for our stagnation IS because we always seem to get lost in the proverbial soup as you described above. I will always welcome an 'honest disagreement' with you anytime, so long as we never lose sight of why we are here... Our country, our Constitution, and our families. I am at a complete loss for words... Your story had me choked up thinking about the last 20+ years and the incredible sacrifice that your family and millions of others have made to this country. Thank you, you reminded me why I did it. It is for those very reasons that I am so infuriated that tens of millions of ILLEGAL immigrants are welcomed into this country and waited on hand and foot with the promise of the American dream that they have done nothing to earn. No sacrifice, no legal routes here, no need to embrace our culture and not even a reason to learn English and they get all of this on the backs of our families and future generations. This is not what your family and mine fought for. I left the service in November of 2008 and am in the process of finishing my PhD, so that I can do just that. Think I will be a hated man on college campuses (at least by my peers)? I hope so.

Stang, I will gladly agree with you on most of this, but, my wife is a physician who does make very good money, pre-tax. Let me tell you about after tax and insurance. My wife makes approximately $180,000 per year, after state, federal, local tax and malpractice insurance, her take home last year (before she put anything into an IRA or savings of any kind) was $81,442. Seems like a fair deal for someone who spent essentially 12 years educating herself FULL TIME, right?

The other difficult part is that the education system of this country has been completely hijacked by people who absolutely hate America. THE GOP IS IN FACT DEAD AND CONSERVATIVES WILL BE THE DEATH OF THEMSELVES AND THIS COUNTRY UNLESS... Note: I felt a little revision was in order... I am writing this because I like millions of Americans have no voice anymore, nor do I have any representation (Correction, but I could count them on one hand). I am a recently retired USAF Colonel, and have spent the better part of my life serving this country (real service, not like a politician) and much like all of you I have watched in disgust at what our elected officials have and continue to do at a blinding pace to this once great country. I can honestly say now after talking with my wife extensively - she is an ER physician - we are in unanimous agreement that America is in fact about dead. There really is no denying this and I will explain why. As a military commander we are required to operate under a strict set of Rules of Engagement that is based upon morality, integrity and believe it or not a good amount of compassion. Our enemy has historically never cared about such things and has zero regard for human life or collateral damage. The Liberals and Democrats have become just like the enemy on the battlefield, they care not for human life (unless it can vote), they care not for collateral damage (this should be obvious), and they fight, not with integrity or honor, but simply to win at ANY cost. My fellow conservative citizens for the most part do care about such things. Therein lies the problem, how do you engage a person honorably who has no honor? The conservatives in this country are a dying breed because we believe in things like REAL personal responsibility, ZERO government intervention, and the right to liberty. How can we win in 2012 or even 2010 when by that time they will have allowed in ANOTHER few million ILLEGAL ALIENS who will be promised free health care, food assistance, housing, and of course a free education for themselves and their children and all they have to do is remember who is promising all of this, ie. the Democrats come time to vote. Now what is happening is the Republicans - wary of losing their jobs, not the good of the country - are becoming clones of liberals, albeit they always propose spending just a little less. This countries only hope is for the real patriots of this country to fight. We must come together under a unified voice of opposition that will not back down and will NEVER apologize for what we believe. I have served this country for 24 years of my life and during that time I have done things in the name of defending our Constitution and freedom that would make most civilized people sick, but it had to be done, and it will always haunt me, but I have ZERO regrets about it. During this time, I also lost close to 30 friends to the hands of enemy combatants with 4 of those dying in my arms. I HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT TO SAY WHAT I BELIEVE AND I WILL NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR OFFENDING SOMEONE BECAUSE OF THOSE BELIEFS! More importantly I and many Americans paid the price for YOU, AND NOW IT IS TIME YOU HONORED THAT SACRIFICE! Political correctness will be the death of our 1st amendment rights my fellow conservatives until we all grow a spine. We had all better start getting angry, no wrong choice of words, PISSED OFF, enough to do something before you don't have the right to have an opinion!! I will leave you with this fellow patriots and I hope I am dead wrong, though I believe I am not. If Mr. Obama should get re-elected in 2012 we will be on the cusp of the next civil war, and even more sad, as a military strategist, I believe this is what they want. Please my fellow conservatives, keep up the good work, I have taken up arms against many, many foreign enemies, AND IT BRINGS ME TO TEARS at the thought of taking up those same arms against my fellow countrymen...
