But that's the same for any higher topic, like gravity or math or free
will. If someone wants to talk about a complex topic they need to step
up to the level of sophistication that the subject requires of the
participants.

Hmm, the results indicate we might be switching back to DISQUS. IntenseDebate is that bad, huh? It lacks a certain aesthetic for me, I have to say. I think I prefer DISQUS as well, but wanted to see what the consensus was.

Pretty much, yes. It's also been the experience of anyone I've spoken to about the topic, but that's the same for "feeling the hand of God" for 99% of my friends, so I accept the validity of your push-back.

I would say that I've also read in numerous places that exercise is listed as one of the best ways to improves sleep, but I'd have to find you some references on that.

Finally, it makes sense from a science standpoint, which, alas, cannot be said for the types of claims that your type of response is normally a reaction to.

When you use the term "definition" you speak as if you have something to back you up. I have a dictionary, what do you have?

The OED clearly defines atheism as either being the lack of belief in a god OR THE BELIEF THAT THERE IS NO GOD.

So, what is your authority on which you are disagreeing with the OED?

I disabled SmartDefense to make sure it wasn't the problem. As for the externip settings, I have those NAT settings in place buy my provider is still sending me traffic to my internal IP rather than to my external IP. I'm not sure how it's even making it back to me, but it seems like it should be coming to the host defined in externhost or externip.

Thoughts?

I am having the same problem with outbound SIP connections getting their source port mangled by Check Point. I have modified my SIP service to the 'none' protocol handler, but the source port mangling is still taking place. How did you get Check Point to leave the source port alone on outbound SIP connections?

Any help would be appreciated.

Agreed, they've had some failures as well. I would say, however, that Orkut is a different beast than Chrome because it's pretty hard to get "into" a social network for a user. You have to invite all your friends and hope they stay, etc. It's difficult.

With a browser, however, you can pretty much dabble and dip as desired without relying others to do the same.

I agree that Google can fail, I'm just saying I think the browser space is one are I think they can and will thrive. And I'm definitely not arguing that they're a contender now; they're way too early for that (they must have plugins to even compete).

This is a prediction for like 6-12 months from now.
