I believe Dr. Paul stands for ideas exposed by our founders and maybe they should be reexamined. The holocaust was a tragedy but what was the result of WWII? Stalin ruled Eastern Europe with an Irion fist. Historians now believe that the number of people killed in Stalin’s gulags was a few times greater than Hitler’s death camps. Another example is Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. The US and China supported Pol Pot who had enslaved the majority of the Cambodian population in death camps when Pol Pot attacked Vietnam and the Vietnamese retaliated.. It is estimated that over 2 million Cambodians were killed by the regime. The Vietnamese became the liberators of Cambodia while the US and China appeared to have aided genocide for geopolitical reasons. Where is the outrage? Next time you have the opportunity to talk to Dr. Paul ask him if he would have supported Pol Pot. As a southerner I have my own views on King Lincoln and the War of Northern Aggression but you probably won’t like them as you seem to have been brain washed by the federal educational system that taught you the WNA was all about slavery. When the southern states seceded they took away the majority of federal revenue. King Lincoln stated something to the affect “we can’t let them leave, where we will obtain the revenue”. The war was about power and control of a region the slavery aspect was a political/military feat. King Lincoln also “stated in order to save the union I had to destroy the republic”. What we have today is King Lincoln’s legacy, an empire…..History shows that all empires crash and burn. Why should the yankee empire be any different? This is so true. Even in these bad times when the company I work for has gone through a couple of layoffs our HR department had job openings for mechanical engineers. A good portion of the MEs hired are foreign born and educated. Government has created another monstrosity. Back in the day when I was an agriculture student at Texas Tech the college of agriculture had a dean and a couple of associate deans. Now the deans almost outnumber the teaching staff……This would not happen in a truly free market capitalist system. Sorry #Occupy……………..

Publius, I will attempt to like you again. At least you seem to understand that Americans at the time and future generations lost some of our liberty in that war. Slavery was abolished but for what reason? Political/military stunt or the goodness from the bottom of Lincoln's racist heart? Brazil abolished slavery a few decades after us and I don't believe they had to slaughter half a million men and destroy a society to do so. I have figured out who PUBIC is. None other than that loud mouthed yankee, Mark Levin. I know of no other public so called “conservative” that has such schizophrenic views other than perhaps the weeping Glenn Beck. You can’t be a true constitutional conservative, worship people like Lincoln and despise honorable men such as Lee. Levin attacked XM host Mike Church a couple of weeks ago over the secession issue that Mike and many other people like myself see as the only exit from the unsustainable monster of the Lincoln government. It seems to me that the revolution that started in 1776 was an act of secession. In 1861 southern states attempted to peacefully create a new nation based on Jeffersonian principles and escape the draconian unconstitutional federal economic laws that redistributed wealth from the south to the north. The racist Lincoln (I said it RACIST as in send them back to Africa….read the man’s own words) continued to occupy southern land. This would start the war at Ft. Sumter. Lee resigned from his post in Texas when Virginia would later leave the union to side with southern friends in what the Yankees call the Civil War but is better described as the “War of Northern Aggression” or “War for Southern Independence”. We lost this battle but the war to end federal leviathan lives in our hearts and the desire to construct a new republic continues. Southerner’s need to realize that we again are being raped by the BIG GOVERNMENT libtards of the northeast and west coast….. let them support leviathan while we walk the road of independence and freedom………..
