you hear "police cite drinking" and assume that everyone in that car is a rampant, irresponsible drunk that was PLASTERED and eager to drive recklessly? seriously?

galspanic, not only are you creepy for myspace stalking a complete stranger, but you're pretty ignorant to assume that just because someone has a picture of her and another girl drinking a beer (something that a LARGE majority of college students post on their facebook or myspace, etc), that she is automatically a drunk. she was having a beer in england with katie. taking a picture of having a drink with a friend while traveling. WOW. how EXTREMELY dangerous and irresponsible she must be.

don't be judgemental. and get a life. thanks.

the 48 year old was not some pervert. he simply wanted a ride to his car. way to dump all over the memory of someone recently deceased. really noble of you.

the passenger is my best friend. she wasn't drunk. nor did she think that kate was. (kate had consumed alcohol much earlier that day, but nowhere close to the time that she got into the car).

were you in the car? were you with them at the river that day? no? then i guess you don't know how much alcohol was consumed. you don't know if the driver was drunk. you don't even know if anyone in the car was drunk.

it's nice to see how easily you all believe what you read. "critical thought". practice it. until then, i would stop making any concrete decisions of opinions.

you don't know the state of sobriety in that car. to act like you do is just plain lying. just because the police state that drinking was involved does not prove that the driver was drunk, nor anyone else in the car. in fact, the driver could have had a sip of her boyfriend's beer and that is cause for the police to say that. you simply don't know. i'm very happy that you seem to be a literate person though. you can't be that dumb.

wow, talk about the definition of ignorance -- seriously, the true absence of critical thought. the police say that drinking was involved, yet there was no blood alcohol level cited. you have NO proof that the driver was drunk, much less everyone else in the car. the only thing that is undoubtable is that there was reckless driving. seriously? how many of you guys have driven recklessly before? it's so easy for you to comment on your computers while you sit at home judging others you know absolutely nothing about.

seriously. gain some intelligence before you rip on some young adults who have just been struck by an INCREDIBLE tragedy.

as someone who knows one of the passengers EXTREMELY well, please let me say that NO ONE in that car was hammered, and that there could have been a NUMBER of factors that contributed to this crash, anything from bad road conditions to a g-damn newspaper flying into the windshield. YOU DONT KNOW. so stop acting like you do. morons. don't assume that katu has a monopoly on capital T truth.
