The sissy cop should have been going after real criminals in the first place. And if some disabled, drunk man, that is hard of hearing and has a pocketknife is such a threat to this cop, he should give up his career in law enforcement right now. How's he going to react to a real threat? Multiple witnesses have come forward now and said the man was actually walking away from the cop. That is a not a justified shooting. And I hardly believe that is "SPD protocol" to shoot a man while attempting to walk away from from the officer. You really shouldn't come on here opening your trap, trying to pretend you are representing the SPD. I'm sure they don't appreciate it.

If you can't figure out a way to take control of a drunk, disabled man with a little 3 inch pocket knife, you shouldn't be a cop. I'll tell you why he put 4 bullets in that man. He wanted to make sure he was dead. One bullet would have done the job. Witnesses are coming forward to say the man walked away from the officer and even the SPD are questioning whether or not the man ever "lunged" toward the officer. This cop seems like a sissy to me. A coward. He's a disgrace and he should be thrown in prison.

I have never lived in SD. (Nice place to visit though.) Not sure where you are coming up with any of this. I have stated 100 times that I live in Boston. Seattle is my hometown. My buddy witnnessed this entire thing go down today and told me to check it out on the news. He seems to have way more information than you do. And other news sites are reporting the man has died. I've been stopped and hassled by the police in the Seattle area for doing nothing. Just minding my own business. I've had guns drawn on me, been acused of looking like a suspect, held for 45 minutes and let go. I'm not a criminal. I'm very clean-cut. I dress like everyone else. I'm a white male. I have no idea why I was harassed but it's happened more than once. I've been stopped for jaywalking, no seatbelt, drinking out of a can (which was grapejuice btw) and for just walking home. This isn't making our society any safer. It's pissing law-abiding citizens off. I've lived here in Boston for 7 months and asside from getting pulled over on 4th of July (cops probably looking for drunks) I have never had any unreasonable encounters with cops here. Cops here are friendly and they do their jobs. They look for real crime. They don't bully us just because they can. And maybe you don't get stopped because you are a white woman. Just a guess.
