Lindsey Nobles : What I Learned On The Road

I just spent 5 weeks straight on the road & now I am having to play catch up with appointments here at home. My only boundary for my insane travel schedule was that I had to be home for the weekends (however short they were) so that I could rest, hang with friends, go to church & my bible study group.

Alex - it was great to pray with you last week. I hope and pray that God will continue to show you areas where the masks are blocking a more fulfilling walk w/Christ. God is always listening and cares for you. Many blessings and I hope you have a great week.

Dave Anthold : Overcome The Procrastination Zone

Ricardo - thanks for the comment. I think that music is the great equalizer. For some reason, it helps people focus - not for everyone, but for some. The "time blocking" and "zoning in on the task" are great ideas. Thanks for joining the discussion.

Lindsey Nobles : Confessions of a Basket Case

As someone who has been where you are at, I totally understand the "basket case" feeling. I think you will find that your heart will be overwhelmed by what your eyes capture, that the stories will flow from your heart to your hands. Besides - God is at work in you - He will write the stories for you. Blessings on your trip. I will be in prayer for you & your team.
Totally. I would like to think that I don't, but I do. Sometimes I think I am doing better at it & then God gently lets me know that I really am not doing as well as I thought I was.
Michael Hyatt Blog : 10 Reasons Why You Aren’t Done Yet

Recently I have found myself not sleeping well, working far too many hours, and leaving no room for exercising. So I changed things up a bit - M,W, F - I begin my work day at 4:30am - leaving the office at 2:30 or 3pm & hitting the trails for some mtn biking. T, Th - I teach & tutor & recover from the previous days work. Beginning in a couple of weeks, I will hike/ride on the weekends. This has greatly helped my productivity.

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Third Ingredient of a Successful Blog

As someone who shifted to wordpress.com sometime ago, I have the desire to shift over to a self-hosted blog soon, but seem that price is unbelievable w/the free hosting solution; however, I can't seem to get the whole "look and feel" I desire. For me, the "look and feel" enable me to contribute more to the the site (even with my own writing). I'm not sure if its a hang up or that's just how I am wired. Regardless, one of these days, I will shift over to a new self-hosted solution and the Standard theme John developed would be a great way to begin. Please consider me for one of the giveways :).
Lindsey Nobles : Nice...Bordering On Creepy

Whether it is online or in person, there is something innate in all of us that knows when something doesn't feel right. I know that I am a little more leary of folks online, but I try to think that no one is out for malicious intent. I, agree with Jason, that if its persistent - you need to say "Hasta la Vista, Baby", as only Arnold can.
Michael Hyatt Blog : My Dream iPad Book Application

I love to right notes in the margins of the book as well as notes in the front of the book for quick recall & thoughts. I think being able to classify a note would be great (i.e. quote, thought, vision, etc) My recent post Seeing God in the Rain
