I'm a notoriously harsh critic of movies (as a lifelong Batman fan I thought Heath was awesome, but the rest of Dark Knight... meh) and I liked how much time GL spent on character development. I like that more than the "action" stuff honestly. I also like how GL managed to find time to be amazed at itself. I thought it made a horrible mistake with the HotWheels helicopter save, and then I see one of the characters say something like "race track... really?" There were a lot of little things like that in the film and I appreciate the characters recognizing the absurdity of the situation. I don't know who the cinematographer was, but I also think he did a great job. The lighting was very well done. Played aganist the Browns, Rams, 49ers (only played them because I thought I had to play whoever randomly popped up. killed me 31-3). The problem is, even playing a 67 rated team like the Rams, once or twice the 95-rated Steven Jackson WILL shred your starter pack. He got 2 LONG runs (one of 86 yds) but other than that we held him in check and kept the game fairly close. Anyway.. end result last night ... 0-3. But my question is.. if you play online... are you sure to play someone in your packs' class... or are you randomly put up against anyone, including fools who spent $10 on their team like the dickweed who posted earlier? If you're not playing similar teams, then I doubt I have the patience to EVER take this online. One thing I didn't realize was that I could turn down the playing time. My games last night were with 7minute quarters. Might turn that down to 4 or 5 minutes (1 minute just seems too cheap)... I actually like playing with the scrubs for a while because I know if I ever get that 1st win I'll jump outta my chair!
