Hey guys.. I have a big problem. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. 2 or 3 days ago, I was out with some friends with my iPhone 3gs 32gb, ios4.0.1 jailbroken, and i was using it normally, made a call, sent a text, and was at about 40% battery. I put it in my pocket, and went to check the time a couple minutes later when I noticed I couldn't turn it on. I have tried resetting it by holding the home and power button but that hasn't worked. When I plug it into the computer, nothing happens. Same with a wall charger. I have contacted Rogers and they are sending me a new iPhone, however, my iPhone is jailbroken.. and I would rather them not know it was jailbroken before I send it back. If anyone knows how to awaken my sleeping iPhone please help. Thank you for reading, sorry for being so long.

Try removing any recent apps you have downloaded from cydia. Worked for me when I downloaded iRealSMS, it put my iphone in safe mode until it was un-installed. Hope this helps.

Hey just wondering... But how did all of those sites know it was going to be August 1st? I remember a while ago seeing a site that said it would be out that day.. kinda weird. Luck?

It's safe! Pretty much just changes the bars sensitivity to show your service more accurately.

They just came out for Rogers today, when I bought mine at apple last year, (my 3gs) they asked if I wanted them to activate it at the apple store so I could use it right away, so Im sure once you buy it you can just leave with it instead of getting it activated.

I thought this blog was to help people, not to start arguments with random strangers and say insulting things to each other.. just my thoughts. Stop attacking each other over a jailbreak, it's not worth it.
