Oh good, I'm glad *you're* confident that nothing will happen. That actually makes me feel way better. Hey experts! No reason to plan for emergencies: this random idiot on the Internet says that nothing will happen!

Oh definitely. We should blame bike thefts on the fact that people have money to buy nice bikes. I suppose you also believe that rape is due to too many pretty girls with too much makeup on?

Uh, they're VCs. They're going to have egos. If the only thing stopping you from being an entrepreneur is being scared of everyone else's egos, you were clearly not cut out to be an entrepreneur.

Daily Camera.com: : Police arrest transient in connection with break in of Fourmile Fire evacuee\'s car - Boulder Daily

As commieboy says, I'm incredibly glad you're not a lawyer, because you have no flipping clue what you're talking about. Roger Kincaid *is*, by definition, the suspect. A suspect is a person who is *suspected* of committing a crime. Roger has been named by the police as being suspected of committing the crime, therefore he is a suspect. The goal of the courts is to find out if the suspect is, in fact, the *perpetrator* of the crime. "Roger L. Kincaid stole $1500.00" and "the suspect stole $1500.00" are semantically identical, and the Camera could be sued for saying either of these. They could safely say either "the suspect allegedly stole $1500" or "the perpetrator stole $1500". Please do some research before you start commenting on things which are out of your depth. You're ruining the interwebs for the rest of us.

Regardless of how overwhelming the evidence may be, it's still an allegation until he's proven guilty in a court of law. If, for whatever reason, he's acquitted, the Camera could be sued for libel for not using "allegedly" here.

"Astin was charged with first-degree murder and first-degree assault after police say he slashed the throat of Michael Knorps, then 17, outside CU's University Memorial Center. Knorps, who suffered only minor injuries, is now a junior at CU." How can you charge someone with murder when the victim survives? I assume they mean *attempted* murder?

"The bubble people must have data and research studies to support any and all opinions" No, this is not about opinions. This is a question of scientific fact - do those who live on a farm have an immunity to the E. Coli bacteria built up, or not? Facts, unlike opinions, require research and citations. You're entitled to your own opinions, but you're not entitled to your own facts.

This is disgusting. While I support Phelps' and his supporters' rights to say whatever they please, anyone who thinks they know exactly whom God hates and who he loves is disturbingly misguided. To these pseudo-Christians who think they are doing the right thing: Focus on making positive change in the world and leave the judging up to God.
