It happens. My sister had twins and was a first time mother. She for sure got overwhelmed by the crying at times. It's what a parent does in RESPONSE to the situation that matters. They teach you to put the baby in the crib and just walk away if you're frustrated to avoid this kind of tragedy from happening. I can totally see what gypsy72 is saying. I mean there would obviously be many people who wouldn't qualify to make certain donations or any at all, but I know so many healthy adults who have never donated blood, or even considered it. I myself am a donor and have also donated plasma. I also had never considered it until a family member needed a transfusion and after seeing how easy it is to donate I am a donor for life.
